As someone diagnosed with ASPD, this is no different, than all the other "comparison" vids... Personally I have less than 5 people I truly care about. Everyone else, I feel nothing. Sociopaths definitely can have bonds, for me its very limited. Spend most of time by myself. I have for a long time, and I like it that way. If you know, then you know 💯

Perhaps there should be a Psychopath and sociopath pride parade day? LOL! My brother is definitely a sociopath. I have empathy for his well being but I can no longer have a relationship with him because he negatively impacts my well being and those I care about. It is natural for people to want to protect themselves. And sometime over empathy can cause blindness to those who would cause harm. Hollywood is not responsible to enlightened people. We have access to libraries and professionals for that.

The only difference is some can be more violent an some are more methodical an calculated. But all share those common qualities listed no degree necessary. IMHO, the biggest difference is their origin. You don't usually become a psychopath, but are born as one, whereas sociopaths are a product of a harmful environment. This would explain why sociopaths are far closer to normal humans in their mind, whereas psychopaths are so detached that they hardly are capable of feeling fear, regret, disgust, shame... And are thus immune to burn-out, depression, and PTSD!
You’re right! But there is a very very small chance of a toddler developing psychopathy tendencies and brain issues that are awfully different from the normal brain in toddler brains. Psychopaths are born, only a very small percentage are after birth, brain problems highly involved. Sociopaths are made 100%, depending on how bad the conditions they are in, how much negativity influences them, corrupts them. I really hate how the media portrays Psychopaths and can’t even tell the differences between sociopaths, narcissistic people, psychopaths.

Psychopaths are really hard to identify in reality, except when they do something and when they do people rush in and defend their actions... I had a colleague and she was most definitely one. She was the best liar I've ever seen and she was ruthless and cunning. She manipulated others into doing her bidding and take the blame for the consequences. Meanwhile, I was seen as the antisocial weirdo and even pointing out how she had lied and how people did things against their interests was utterly ignored because she was charismatic, fun, beautiful... I pretty much told her I knew and she didn't give a F. She was sure that I could not harm her. All that changed was that she stopped acting as if she cared about anything other than herself when we were alone... Female and male psychopaths are different in some ways so identifying gets a bit trickier but personally in my opinion, I’d say females are harder to identify as psychopaths mainly because of how the media and movie portrays men as psychopaths more than females. So I could tell something was off with A, when I first met him, he wasn’t always alone but he looked bored around people as if he wanted something more amusing. We met each other and had some things in common such as reading, writing, art, into horror genres, calligraphy etc. We stopped being friends after he just cut off contacts with me, as in ghosted me, he dropped out of high school of Sophomore year. I visited his parents home and they brushed me away, as I insisted on knowing what happened, they told me and then made me leave. They said something about him having mental issues. I couldn’t see him again. It doesn’t really visibly show he’s a psychopath but not long after finding out he had killed our neighbors pets, I just went along with the fact he’s messed up. Not to mention my pet was missing as well. Being in denial, I kept contacting him and he told me we weren’t friends anyways. I got upset as it’s a natural reaction if anyone did this or said this to you. We cursed at each other until he blocked me, then our friendship completely ended officially that day. I’m not a sociopath, narcissist, nor a psychopath, I’m out of those categories. I feel sad cause of our memories but I don’t regret ending our friendship. Who knows how long a person can last with a psycho lmao. People really need to get out of their mind and open their eyes, psychopaths aren’t gonna spare you even if you’re their friend. @@bme7995 I met two people who I consider psychopaths. I liked both of them, though that female colleague scared me TBH. She could have ruined me with a wisper. The other person was my grandfather. He was a really cool dude. He was the only of my relatives who spoke about WWII, as we've ended up on the losing side and my relatives were too traumatized or shameful to talk about it. He was refreshingly different. He talked in a matter-of-fact manner without making any excuses, nor painting himself as a hero or victim. What I also really appreciated about him was that despite him being raised to hate Slavic people, he didn't give a damn and despite the horrors at the eastern front, he never held any grudges. He married a Slavic woman and visited Slavic countries, whereas other people kept grudges alive for several generations! He was self-taught, sly, and mischievous, but for the most part not judging. He was the only one who didn't give me an earful, or threaten to disinherit me for my taste of women. As a boy, I found an illegal rifle and shot with it and while everyone jumped into cover, he casually walked up to the direction of the shots and then asked me what I was aiming at and then asked me to hand over the rifle and shot my target (a street sign) dead center and that in his 80s! However, he was not a good guy by any stretch of the definition. He protected my mother from a relative who tried to molest her. He chased after a conman and beat him up to get his wife's money back. He got into prison nearly as soon as he was released from his POW status because he had nothing better to do than to steal dynamite and go fishing in the city lake... He visited Moskow in the height of the cold war and smuggled goods in and out for fun and chased after skirts while his wife was left at home! To make things worse, his little daughter (my mother) accompanied him and he forgot about her and she was lost in a place where no one spoke German, except those that had business shooting Germans... and everyone was afraid of spies and the special police... Shortly before his death, he promised everyone his wealth and spent everything secretly knowing that the vultures would fight each other to the last feather... He was a fun guy to be around, but not a responsible worker, father nor husband...
What are you basing that on? The current literature is that there is both a genetic and environmental component to both Psychopathy and Sociopathy. There is absolutely no credible evidence to suggest that 'Psychopaths' don't feel any emotions at all, infact they can feel anger and fear just fine, especially if they get into a situation where someone has caught them doing something they can be very explosive with emotions it's just that their emotions are usually much more muted than the neurotypical person, especially when it comes to compasion for other people and everyone varies there isn't a single recipe that all psychopaths follow.. Besides, those two terms Psychopath and Sociopath are highly disputed - Psychopathy is just an area of study it's not something that is diagnosable where as Sociopathy is generally referred to ASPD.
Sociopath here, we can actually care about you. Do not expect us to care, we will usually won't. But the fact that I adore my girlfriend really tell that we can care of a few ones. I have some psychopath traits from family genes, my family is filled with psychos, I don't think they understand certain emotions at all.
I see, that’s nice to hear. Do not generalize all sociopaths though, there are sociopaths who actually lack empathy and you’re one of the sociopaths who actually have empathy. I absolutely detest romance, it’s just something bothersome in life. I can be happy without love, happiness is different from love. You’re lucky you have a girlfriend, I don’t have anyone to care for. I’m not a sociopath or a psychopath, I’m normal and completely out of those categories. My mom is a narcissistic person with sociopath tendencies, my dad is neutral/normal though I’ve never seen him cry. In the end, regardless of what we are, be it sociopath, psychopath, narcissist, etc, we are all humans in the end.

I was about to say I don't have a lack of empathy but then I realized how I like recently 1 of my close neighbors died and I haven't cared. Plus when either of my grandmothers died I didn't even cry and I just comforted my mom. The only cat of mine that I was remotely sad died was my cat Linnie only because she spent hours with me and I had gotten her when she was a kitten.

Well explained. Having a conscience is often one method to distinguish the two, with psychopaths deemed to be lacking one, whereas sociopaths have one (hence they can display more erratic displays of emotion)

I thought that a sociopath is someone that would see a person get hurt or even killed and don’t feel a thing. But would not want to hurt or kill a person. On the other hand, a psychopath is someone that not only doesn’t care for the suffering of others, but enjoys seeing people suffer. So, they would hurt or kill.

Not all Sociopaths and Psychopaths have the same emotional regulation or expression. For instance, some have temper tantrums (most likely a sociopath), some have no emotional output at all. What I mean is, not all S or P have the drive or find it necessary to kill someone. They also have a frontal lobe (90% of the time) which means just because there is little inhibition emotionally, that doesn't mean that they can't regulate themselves, that they are crazy, or that they can't function in society without harming anyone. You shouldn't be diagnosed with ASPD for "unusual behavior" and I think everyone who really needed a therapist would be diagnosed with it if that was the case. Psychopaths tend to be more practical and methodic than sociopaths, more, controlling over themselves and others when when absolutely necessary. Sociopaths are just neurotypicals with an..........akward........upbringing.
Usually with a phychopath it's typically neurologically rooted and with a sociopath it's more so a product of nurture,conditioning and environment/atmosphere that they live in.

If you have come this far to figure out what was wrong with the person who messed with your life. I met two sisters a while back one changed her personality and assumed my life-she was a sociopath. The other wanted to own me, even said she was running my life, I wasn’t allowed to have anyone but her and she was a stalker, she was a malignant narcissist. But what does it make a difference what they were exactly when they were equally messed up people.
For nearly 10 years I was in a marriage to a beautiful (physically beautiful) woman who,4 years into the marriage, was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. However she seem to me to fit the DMS IV description of a sociopath. She is also now a psychologist and has a commercial pilot's license, for which I believe she would have to lie about her diagnoses. Is there some overlap among these three disorders? All I know is that, after the first two years, the marriage was HELL. I would strongly advise anyone here who is romantically involved with a person with type 2 bipolar disorder to run away, fast and far. BTW, the link to your quiz just returns me to this video.

Actually a very interesting study found through a brain scan that psychopaths CAN feel empathy when asked to do so, meaning that their empathy is not automatic like in most people, but is set in manual mode and they choose not to do so because they consider it a nuisance.

I watch an interview with the ice man a notorious mafia hit man. They way he described things and am going off the top of my head here but breaking something on a person was no different then breaking the leg off a chair. You are pretty right on the money when they just see people like objects to be used and manipulated pretty chilling
I've seen that interview as well, but what was REALLY shocking was that he had a family that he cared for. The money he made from killing he used to put his daughters through college, he would buy presents for wife and kids on Christmas, and he said that if he wasn't out on mob business he would always be home with his family. His wife and kids backed all of this up and they seemed very genuine from what I could tell. This was the first time I'd ever heard of a psychopath family man and I was lost for words.

@@robiimccann I keep hearing this and it's absolute rubbish. It sounds good, even as though it could be true, but it's rubbish. No one is born a psychopath, they form their attitudes to live growing up. If by born you mean earlier in their life then I agree, I would say they come from your much a loving, caring environment they grow up in and how their parents act towards each other and how much attention they are given, but they don't come out of the womb as psychopaths. Sociopaths I think can be created by many different things, they can also gain their tendencies at an early age, they are their family and friends getting things by behaving in a certain way, they can be empathetic and then a certain life event changes how they behave (although I think this can happen for psychopaths as well), or they can just be educated in such a way that they see it as an advantage to behave that way. The way I see it, and as the name suggests, sociopaths like to be around people, they manipulate people by being continually part of a group, where psychopaths manipulate people when they happen to come into contact with people, they tend to be more loners because of they did hang out in larger groups their thoughts and views would be uncovered and they would be more at risk of being found out if they committed acts of violence. I think the term psychopath and sociopath are used too quickly though and it's not so black and white, there is overlap and some psychopaths have social tendancies whilst some sociopaths don't like to hang out in such large groups. I know I've written a lot here, but the real difference is that psychopaths are more physically violent and often do what they do purely for pleasure, whilst sociopaths do what they do to benefit themselves financially, emotionally, and to gain almost self congratulation to make themselves feel better. Both are about getting pleasure in some way, but I think sociopaths do it with a purpose in mind and not just for control or self image.
To be more realistic. The majority of people have their close friends and family whom they have deep bonds with . And typically healthy people will have a general respect and positive regard towards their community, but you don’t have aspd if you don’t LOVE everyone around you.
Very irresponsible of this channel to have people take online "tests " to diagnose each other. If you suspect someone has a mental illness do not try to diagnose them instead encourage them to see a psychologist/therapist etc or other medical professional.
I don't want people to suffer, I have no desire to hurt people in any way. But at the same time I don't like people, with the exception of my family and my girlfriend, and the suffering of others doesn't particularly concern me. Does that make me a psychopath?

Psychopaths don't really form bonds they pretend to for there own personal gain. After they get what they want you will never see or hear from them again.
Until he learns that they can just learn like a dog litter, when a dog bites another it yells or bites back saying hey back off. Therefore just avoiding the activities that make them standout.
I would strongly recommend that you not distance yourself from these people or exclude them from your life when you are able to determine if they are a sociopath or a psychopath. That will only draw them further into their mental psyche and become even more harmful to those who cannot determine if they are a sociopath or psychopath. Just try to understand them, and still be a friend. Try to help them, but knowledge when they are trying to manipulate you. Otherwise you are just helping to create a mixing pot for a seriously dangerous individual.
For the most part, these are informal terms that aren't used clinically any more. Which isn't to say that Psychiatrists don't use them, like "Crazy," but they've been replaced by a more comprehensive spectrum of Anti-social behavior. There was never really a consensus on what the differenceS (Plural) were, and they were used interchangeably. One patient may have been called a Sociopath by one doctor, and a Psychopath by another.
One of the problems with the Ambiguity is that a lot of people were mis-diagnosed by this "Poster Diagnosis" pop psychiatry. By unqualified semi-professionals, like school councilors. Being mis-diagnosed as ASPD (ADHD, Bipolar...) prevented me from being diagnosed as Schizotypal. Because they don't have a handy reference poster, and pamphlets for that.

calling psychopaths and sociopaths "crazy" is very wrong. Here, in post-soviet countries, the word "psychopath" is often being used to describe a person with severe mental issues. In reality, that's not the case, psychopaths are a lot more "stable" then "normal" people. The "crazy" ones usually have scyzophrenia, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, dissociative personality disorder, but even those are not all "crazy", only the extreme cases

As someone diagnosed with ASPD, this is no different, than all the other "comparison" vids... Personally I have less than 5 people I truly care about. Everyone else, I feel nothing. IMHO, the biggest difference is their origin. You don't usually become a psychopath, but are born as one, whereas sociopaths are a product of a harmful environment. This would explain why sociopaths are far closer to normal humans in their mind, whereas psychopaths are so detached that they hardly are capable of feeling fear, regret, disgust, shame... And are thus immune to burn-out, depression, and PTSD!
You’re right! But there is a very very small chance of a toddler developing psychopathy tendencies and brain issues that are awfully different from the normal brain in toddler brains. Psychopaths are born, only a very small percentage are after birth, brain problems highly involved. Sociopaths are made 100%, depending on how bad the conditions they are in, how much negativity influences them, corrupts them.

I had a colleague and she was most definitely one. She was the best liar I've ever seen and she was ruthless and cunning. She manipulated others into doing her bidding and take the blame for the consequences. Meanwhile, I was seen as the antisocial weirdo and even pointing out how she had lied and how people did things against their interests was utterly ignored because she was charismatic, fun, beautiful...
I pretty much told her I knew and she didn't give a F. She was sure that I could not harm her. All that changed was that she stopped acting as if she cared about anything other than herself when we were alone...

I used to have a close friend, let’s just say his name is A. My friend A, we met each other in 6th grade and became close during 7th grade I think. I always felt like he had this strange presence within him, as a kid, I’ve always had good intuition and it wasn’t really hard for me to notice some things. Just some.
Female and male psychopaths are different in some ways so identifying gets a bit trickier but personally in my opinion, I’d say females are harder to identify as psychopaths mainly because of how the media and movie portrays men as psychopaths more than females.
So I could tell something was off with A, when I first met him, he wasn’t always alone but he looked bored around people as if he wanted something more amusing. We met each other and had some things in common such as reading, writing, art, into horror genres, calligraphy etc.
We stopped being friends after he just cut off contacts with me, as in ghosted me, he dropped out of high school of Sophomore year. I visited his parents home and they brushed me away, as I insisted on knowing what happened, they told me and then made me leave.
They said something about him having mental issues. I couldn’t see him again. It doesn’t really visibly show he’s a psychopath but not long after finding out he had killed our neighbors pets, I just went along with the fact he’s messed up. Not to mention my pet was missing as well.
Being in denial, I kept contacting him and he told me we weren’t friends anyways. I got upset as it’s a natural reaction if anyone did this or said this to you. We cursed at each other until he blocked me, then our friendship completely ended officially that day.
I’m not a sociopath, narcissist, nor a psychopath, I’m out of those categories. I feel sad cause of our memories but I don’t regret ending our friendship. Who knows how long a person can last with a psycho lmao.

The other person was my grandfather. He was a really cool dude. He was the only of my relatives who spoke about WWII, as we've ended up on the losing side and my relatives were too traumatized or shameful to talk about it.
He was refreshingly different. He talked in a matter-of-fact manner without making any excuses, nor painting himself as a hero or victim. What I also really appreciated about him was that despite him being raised to hate Slavic people, he didn't give a damn and despite the horrors at the eastern front, he never held any grudges. He married a Slavic woman and visited Slavic countries, whereas other people kept grudges alive for several generations!
He was self-taught, sly, and mischievous, but for the most part not judging. He was the only one who didn't give me an earful, or threaten to disinherit me for my taste of women. As a boy, I found an illegal rifle and shot with it and while everyone jumped into cover, he casually walked up to the direction of the shots and then asked me what I was aiming at and then asked me to hand over the rifle and shot my target (a street sign) dead center and that in his 80s!
However, he was not a good guy by any stretch of the definition. He protected my mother from a relative who tried to molest her. He chased after a conman and beat him up to get his wife's money back. He got into prison nearly as soon as he was released from his POW status because he had nothing better to do than to steal dynamite and go fishing in the city lake... He visited Moskow in the height of the cold war and smuggled goods in and out for fun and chased after skirts while his wife was left at home! To make things worse, his little daughter (my mother) accompanied him and he forgot about her and she was lost in a place where no one spoke German, except those that had business shooting Germans... and everyone was afraid of spies and the special police... Shortly before his death, he promised everyone his wealth and spent everything secretly knowing that the vultures would fight each other to the last feather...
He was a fun guy to be around, but not a responsible worker, father nor husband...
What are you basing that on? The current literature is that there is both a genetic and environmental component to both Psychopathy and Sociopathy. There is absolutely no credible evidence to suggest that 'Psychopaths' don't feel any emotions at all, infact they can feel anger and fear just fine, especially if they get into a situation where someone has caught them doing something they can be very explosive with emotions it's just that their emotions are usually much more muted than the neurotypical person, especially when it comes to compasion for other people and everyone varies there isn't a single recipe that all psychopaths follow..
Besides, those two terms Psychopath and Sociopath are highly disputed - Psychopathy is just an area of study it's not something that is diagnosable where as Sociopathy is generally referred to ASPD.

Be wary of the DSM-5, 3 and 4 seem to be more accurate for many mental health disorders. 5 changed a lot to "not hurt people's feelings"

I was about to say I don't have a lack of empathy but then I realized how I like recently 1 of my close neighbors died and I haven't cared. Plus when either of my grandmothers died I didn't even cry and I just comforted my mom. The only cat of mine that I was remotely sad died was my cat Linnie only because she spent hours with me and I had gotten her when she was a kitten.

Not all Sociopaths and Psychopaths have the same emotional regulation or expression. For instance, some have temper tantrums (most likely a sociopath), some have no emotional output at all. What I mean is, not all S or P have the drive or find it necessary to kill someone. They also have a frontal lobe (90% of the time) which means just because there is little inhibition emotionally, that doesn't mean that they can't regulate themselves, that they are crazy, or that they can't function in society without harming anyone. You shouldn't be diagnosed with ASPD for "unusual behavior" and I think everyone who really needed a therapist would be diagnosed with it if that was the case. Psychopaths tend to be more practical and methodic than sociopaths, more, controlling over themselves and others when when absolutely necessary. Sociopaths are just neurotypicals with

If you have come this far to figure out what was wrong with the person who messed with your life. I met two sisters a while back one changed her personality and assumed my life-she was a sociopath. The other wanted to own me, even said she was running my life, I wasn’t allowed to have anyone but her and she was a stalker, she was a malignant narcissist. But what does it make a difference what they were exactly when they were equally messed up people.

For nearly 10 years I was in a marriage to a beautiful (physically beautiful) woman who,4 years into the marriage, was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. However she seem to me to fit the DMS IV description of a sociopath. She is also now a psychologist and has a commercial pilot's license, for which I believe she would have to lie about her diagnoses. Is there some overlap among these three disorders? All I know is that, after the first two years, the marriage was HELL. I would strongly advise anyone here who is romantically involved with a person with type 2 bipolar disorder to run away, fast and far. BTW, the link to your quiz just returns me to this video.
Why use the voice of a 19 year old for these videos and suggest the speaker is the psychologist here? Sort of a gap in credibility.

I agree to some extend but I also see that this style of presentation including the voice attract more of the casual modern crowd. In regards to RUclips this might make for a wider spread and that's fine with me since there's still valuable information to be found here.

@@wfqsfg I see what you mean. Being young includes a lack of experience and no established authority in the field. But I don't think they're going for in depth analysis and authority so in their own style it fits the theme and format. Budget could also be an aspect, I have no clue what a good voice narrator costs these days.

Actually a very interesting study found through a brain scan that psychopaths CAN feel empathy when asked to do so, meaning that their empathy is not automatic like in most people, but is set in manual mode and they choose not to do so because they consider it a nuisance.

I have ASPD, and the way I think of the difference is that they both have the same symptoms, but a psychopath uses their symptoms, where a sociopath is used by their symptoms

I watch an interview with the ice man a notorious mafia hit man. They way he described things and am going off the top of my head here but breaking something on a person was no different then breaking the leg off a chair. You are pretty right on the money when they just see people like objects to be used and manipulated pretty chilling
I've seen that interview as well, but what was REALLY shocking was that he had a family that he cared for. The money he made from killing he used to put his daughters through college, he would buy presents for wife and kids on Christmas, and he said that if he wasn't out on mob business he would always be home with his family. His wife and kids backed all of this up and they seemed very genuine from what I could tell. This was the first time I'd ever heard of a psychopath family man and I was lost for words.

Kind of shallow and limited in information / view-points. As such, the video material here feels kind of one sided and paints a more dominantly negative picture, which isn't correct nor fair (these ego states aren't truly abnormal and as everything in existence - there are pros and cons to them). Still though, "B" for the effort.

@@robiimccann I keep hearing this and it's absolute rubbish. It sounds good, even as though it could be true, but it's rubbish. No one is born a psychopath, they form their attitudes to live growing up. If by born you mean earlier in their life then I agree, I would say they come from your much a loving, caring environment they grow up in and how their parents act towards each other and how much attention they are given, but they don't come out of the womb as psychopaths.
Sociopaths I think can be created by many different things, they can also gain their tendencies at an early age, they are their family and friends getting things by behaving in a certain way, they can be empathetic and then a certain life event changes how they behave (although I think this can happen for psychopaths as well), or they can just be educated in such a way that they see it as an advantage to behave that way.
The way I see it, and as the name suggests, sociopaths like to be around people, they manipulate people by being continually part of a group, where psychopaths manipulate people when they happen to come into contact with people, they tend to be more loners because of they did hang out in larger groups their thoughts and views would be uncovered and they would be more at risk of being found out if they committed acts of violence. I think the term psychopath and sociopath are used too quickly though and it's not so black and white, there is overlap and some psychopaths have social tendancies whilst some sociopaths don't like to hang out in such large groups.
I know I've written a lot here, but the real difference is that psychopaths are more physically violent and often do what they do purely for pleasure, whilst sociopaths do what they do to benefit themselves financially, emotionally, and to gain almost self congratulation to make themselves feel better. Both are about getting pleasure in some way, but I think sociopaths do it with a purpose in mind and not just for control or self image.

To be more realistic. The majority of people have their close friends and family whom they have deep bonds with . And typically healthy people will have a general respect and positive regard towards their community, but you don’t have aspd if you don’t LOVE everyone around you.
Very irresponsible of this channel to have people take online "tests " to diagnose each other. If you suspect someone has a mental illness do not try to diagnose them instead encourage them to see a psychologist/therapist etc or other medical professional.

Being a sociopath is one thing you don't wanna be since people tend to mistake you for a psychopath seriously i get called out a psychopath for my lack lf empathy and weird behavior ,people it's not my fault if i lack empathy, Empathy for me became nothing since 2011 after my grandpa died and i have to face the cruel reality that everyone might attempt to kill you someday and that stick to my mind after what happened to him, No he wasn't killed but my aunt tried to kill me once or twice....... I would strongly recommend that you not distance yourself from these people or exclude them from your life when you are able to determine if they are a sociopath or a psychopath. For the most part, these are informal terms that aren't used clinically any more. Which isn't to say that Psychiatrists don't use them, like "Crazy," but they've been replaced by a more comprehensive spectrum of Anti-social behavior. There was never really a consensus on what the differenceS (Plural) were, and they were used interchangeably. One patient may have been called a Sociopath by one doctor, and a Psychopath by another.
One of the problems with the Ambiguity is that a lot of people were mis-diagnosed by this "Poster Diagnosis" pop psychiatry. By unqualified semi-professionals, like school councilors. Being mis-diagnosed as ASPD (ADHD, Bipolar...) prevented me from being diagnosed as Schizotypal. Because they don't have a handy reference poster, and pamphlets for that.

calling psychopaths and sociopaths "crazy" is very wrong. Here, in post-soviet countries, the word "psychopath" is often being used to describe a person with severe mental issues. In reality, that's not the case, psychopaths are a lot more "stable" then "normal" people. The "crazy" ones usually have scyzophrenia, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, dissociative personality disorder, but even those are not all "crazy", only the extreme cases
