I'm reminded of a YTer who demonstrated how to make aluminum powder with a ball mill, and then demonstrated how flammable it is by lighting a small sample in his shed, directly over his entire yield of powder.
they are really common in labs since the internals of normal fridges can spark which can light solvent vapors causing the fridge door to be blown off at high speeds. Many accidents have happened because labs used normal fridges.
dear ma'am ... can you suggest some handling method, particularly for Iron Pentacarbonyl 99.9%? is it alright if I am using hypodermic syringes for transfer?
An IPO can be very profitable to own and crash on purpose. Ask me how know, as two of us were regenerating neurons. Guess how that ended, we had first of everything, I could’ve walked with life fortune, said nope! NSADP had a Vision!

Dartmouth is also where Karen Wetterhahn worked. She died due an accidental exposure to dimethymercury, a hyper dangerous chemical.

never had the chance to study chemistry, but this and similiar videos make me wish i did. did amazing in other sciences
That’s really nice! Thanks for sharing!

We all do.

I can help get some things. I too, am a hobby chemist. But I used to work in an analytical laboratory and made many connections while there.

Heady video. I never wanted to use the hammer prior to watching this, still don't, thanks for sharing though.
How to handle acetylene? Answer: you don’t.
