It is not evil. I didn't see in the video where anyone forced her to come back. She did so on her own. She can refused the gifts and marriage rights. We should hear from her mother in-law.
Where are the children when a strange man knock the door to make their mother pregnant. So dirty. So terrible. Children are exposed to everything. Stop this!!!!!!!!!!
We should help these families scratch out better living conditions. Show that you care by supporting them. You will smile after 6 months to see the rewards of your support.
Lately Nigerian stories have traumatized me 😢 if they are not employing little children as housemaids and tearing them apart with hot knives they are sending them out at midnight to fetch water miles away, now this one is having 3 whole babies with a ghost 👻..
Not literarily. She is having children with other men approved by the mother in law and herself. That is how it is done. Selective breeding. If she has sex with other men for the fun of it that is her business. How many men and women have sex out of wedlock or in wedlock. She is only having these children to carry on her late partner's lineage. It is in the name of the father. Just like adoption or surrogacy.
Am sorry, I didn't mean to condemn the entire country. I am a fan of Nigeria and really do hope that the lives of most people there are improved for the better, someday. I have seen and heard too many horrible stories from all corners of the country in the last 25 years or so, since I first took interest in the country. Just heartbreaking to see how so many people still live, and with not much of advancement in practically all aspects. I do hope that you guys get it right some time soon.
Nigeria is a messed up place. We know that. I am a Nigerian and more especially Igbo. I love and respect my community tradition. My ancestors were not stupid when they made the traditions. Every African tradition made sense then and now. Though the European would do anything to admonish our traditions for theirs.
I'm skeptical that the man was appearing to her the way she described. It’s the fear that was deeply ingrained in her, affecting her mental well-being due to the pressure to have grandchildren for this family. She was sexually trafficked. Forced her to sleep with numerous men against her wishes for offsprings. They exploited her for their selfish motives, despite the children not being biologically related to them. Furthermore, she wasn't married to him before his passing. she still has the option to leave.
This juju culture and transition is too deep deeper than we outsider could fathom . They manipulate demons to appear in the body of the dead , it’s a dark spiritual things .
Bravo! Well said. No one forced her. Just fear and greed to acquire the gifts. If she had maintained her initial decision not to come back the only option left for the dead warrior parents would be to marry another woman for their son. I am an Igbo man. It happens in almost igbo communities. Nothing wrong with that. Just our way of life. The NHO woman is just running a prostitution ring.
Psychology is one thing, Astral projection is another and very real. a lot of people can be manipulated with this. The fiber of the voodoo we see today is largely dependent on the latter.
I volunteered with Kachem Young Initiative as a youth corps member in Ebonyi state. This story is just one out of the many horrendous experiences women face in Ebonyi state.
I can’t watch this , too much for me 😮 😞. I watched long enough to understand , I still can’t . This GIVES the word sad ,and weird a whole new meaning smh .
This is nonsense, you should have run away from that community and seek spiritual help from a true church to pray with you. Those relatives of the dead man and the witch doctor were the ones attacking you spiritually and making you to hallucinate about your dead friend so that you will agree to their nonsense. You were not married to him and even if you were married you have the right to leave after his death.
The sensible thing you said is hallucination. If you watch the video again notice what the young woman said initially - afraid when the boy friend died. It is the fear in her mind that caused the hallucinations. No one put a spell on her. I am not saying they didn't try. All these juju, magic, native doctors, spiritualist and pastors charms are pure nonsense. Mind power. Not everyone has the power to control their minds.
Don't crucify her. She was manipulated by d native tradionalist mother in law with demons. N u can see that she isn't educated. N most igbo communities r deeply entrenched in their questionable traditions n customs. So don't blame this woman. Any enlightened lady would have battled d ghost of d dead with hot prayers n fasting, were she a good Christian. She was manipulated
Its eady to call the mother in law evil but dont you all realize that it is men that establish these customs and women are enforcers under the same pressures that continue these customs. The men tgat also sleep with these women but dont even give them money are also evil. WHY WHY WHY do we not HOLD MEN AS ACCOUNTABLE AS WE DO WOMEN???!!! That is ignorant and evil to let them off the hook too!
Amen & Amen: The FGN, state and loca governments are liable for this evil - Our constitution and laws do not tolerate such crimes again daughters of this nation🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️

Sorry I cannot. One minute talking about local deity next minute talking about God. At some point you gotta love yourself. Even if you gotta run away. Traditions and culture is for man. Man is not for traditions and culture. These people make idol out of traditions.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". Matthew 11:28 All traditions without Christ is bondage. It doesn't matter whether it is western, African or Eastern. Jesus Christ can set her free.
Yeah, this is a common practice in Igbo land and other parts of Nigeria and Africa in general. Yes, that this might be an issue in Nigeria specifically Igbo land, understand that the Western World also practiced this particular stuff during the first and Second World War. This practice happened more during the Biafra and Nigeria Civil war on those who went to war and never came back. In other words, this could be seen as legitimate because if the dead war lords didn’t go to defend the community, there is the possibility that the whole village could be taken over by the adversaries. The greatest sacrifice is that person who die for others to live as Christ did. These men sacrificed their lives for others to live. Without them, I don’t think that those who are politicians today would have the opportunity to become so rich. Now, the solution here is for the state government to understand what is happening to engage these women into meaningful job. Mazi, do not call this “Barbaric” because you are able to engage in your RUclips business today because there are those in Igbo land who sacrificed for your parents to be alive and give birth to you. So sometimes we must take overview of issues before concluding with negative assumptions. The government in that state has the responsibility to understand their culture and assist these women. Sacrifice of death for others to live is not barbaric but giving others the opportunity to live and comforting bereaved families and that’s why the culture is there , also all Africa and even the western world.
@@DavidNkwa Do you think is about one’s “Will”? If it is decided on one’s Will, then the community and the state will seize to exist because their adversaries will win. Now, the issue of “Will” shouldn’t be in discussion in this case because what is the issue here is the continuous existence of these people and most especially those who lost their sons for others to live. Women in this village understand the culture and tradition of their people and even the state government who came from there understands their culture. “Will”, using this word does not fit into what is the paramount here. Like I said, government of the state should come to their aid and provide these women opportunities to avoid trauma. It is being practiced today in parts of European countries, not to talk of African countries. Our communities in Igbo land must exist and this is the only way. Do you know there are people who marry their blood relatives even in Jewish communities to keep that blood linage going. In the UK, it is rampant with the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh marrying cousins etc. When you ask them, they tell you is been in their culture for centuries and they won’t change because they now live in the UK.
So your point is that this practice is okay. Someone dies, and a lady is married against their will to bear children for the dead. While I respect your viewpoint, I totally disagree with you. Who told you those women are okay with the situation? They are not. And the community is not facing alienation persec. Even if I was to agree with you for a second, while will you force a girl to continue to give birth after having 3 kids against her will. This is slavery my friend, and should be stopped
@@DavidNkwa if a woman is married and she continues to give birth to 10 kids, will you call that a slavery? No, I never said it is totally okay- what you feel that it is bad might be what works for others in their culture. That’s why you have Muslims, Christians, and others that believe in what ever they think is their beliefs system. You see God is the first person to practice democracy and thus allowed people to live accordingly. You might not see that those communities are going into extinction because you are not from there! If you are from these communities or families where you have only a son and the son dies due to war, I assure you that your parents will take such decisions to secure their ancestral homeland. The practice is their tradition and culture and one’s culture must be respected at all cost, as this is what causes problems and wars among communities and nations. You can’t go to any community and assume that she was forced to marry the dead even after she narrated her ordeals to you, when she was feeling reluctant to agree. In other countries or communities it might not happen but in her community it happens either you agree or not, the dead might make your life uncomfortable as she stated. There are communities in Igbo land today that when a brother dies, the other brother takes over the wife. Which would have happened to this young lady but the late brother stopped his brother from marrying his “supposed betrothed wife”. There is no forcing here against your will, Mazi. It is “culture and tradition” and not forcing. I must also tell you that in your village, there are some practices that you don’t like, but you can’t do anything about it because it is “called Culture and tradition” of your community and have been in existence for centuries. Government of her state is the only solution to make their lives better by providing employment. “Idle mind is devil’s workshop”- that could result to continuous giving birth and taking advantage of them by men and families.
A very pathetic story. Ebonyi state Governor and Abakiliki LGA chairman should swing into action to mitigate the Negative Publicity this story is portraying about the State. I am very 💔💔💔 that such barbaric act is ongoing in this present time.
Please how how do i get in touch with this lady i will travel to Ebonyi state let me go and see her and look into this matter deeply because i can see the mother in-law is the real witch here, seriously this lady need a good life and new environment
I’m from Ebonyi and I’m happy it’s not my culture. I hope this Barbaric culture is condemned by the government. So the traditionalist mother could not protect her son from death. The dead warlords would rather allow strangers to defile his living woman rather than accepting his brother marriage to his woman? It’s a crazy world and a deceitful and brainwashed method to convince women in that community. It’s better the younger ones leave the community if they can before they become subjected to this inhumane treatment enforced by their people who are meant to protect them, in the name of custom and tradition. I hope they find exposure and good lives.
Oh Lord Jesus You died on the cross to free us from every bondage. Lord rescue these women in Jesus Name of Nazareth.Amen.🙌🙌🙌This is just pure witchcraft.
This is a tradition which is in most of African cultures. It’s like when you stay with a man without wedding or dowry , when your boyfriend dies it’s upon you join him in his native land and raise your kids there or go somewhere and have kids raised by other families. Most cultures don’t allow kids from other men due to cultural differences which affects the relationship between the new man and the kids especially when they are boys. This Naigerian culture is harsh considering other or west African is more harsh

the other issue is, Nigerian society uses culture, tribe, religion and poverty to mentally cage these people
Exactly, particularly if u are poor
And it's even crazier because women from abroad don't really know the marriage rules
This was one of such difficult field works we always have to engage. We visit to give help, even get emotional sometimes but they live these realities.
Thank Mr David, you are amazing ❤

This is so sad thanks for this update David 😢
David has been deceived this time. As usual I like his coverages. I call him Indiana Jones of Africa. He should be more objective.
Dave, I will continue to commend you for all that you do.
This is evil. They building on the ignorance of these girls and women. They also need spiritual help.
Now I know the reason why mist of the Igbo bloggers are bullying Wunmi and Liam Aloba. Why did they come here to ask for dna?
This is very disturbing!!!
I urge the Ebonyi state government to wade into this matter.
This should not be happening in the 21st century!!!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you providing a way to support her.
Really sad. Nigeria strikes me like a really messed up place.
This is just one tribe practicing this evil, you can't condemn the whole country.
@@uyuy5131From whe're U?
Nigeria is a messed up place. We know that. I am a Nigerian and more especially Igbo. I love and respect my community tradition. My ancestors were not stupid when they made the traditions. Every African tradition made sense then and now. Though the European would do anything to admonish our traditions for theirs.
This is more of a cultural practice: Nigeria as a whole does not practice this.
I do appreciated for sharing this theme, it’s important to bring this theme among other women all over the world
Some culture is Babaric....Kudos to the interpreter Nkechi....she was my senior in secondary school.
How did you find out about this story boss? You're a genius RUclipsr May Allah bless you for things that you are sharing to us
I'm skeptical that the man was appearing to her the way she described.
On this story who forced the girl to marry the man is it the mother?
It wasn't fear. They were real demons conjured by the late man's mother.
This is a plan by the in laws, how can a dead person lineage continue if another one man is the father of kids
This can never be me, where are the human rights activists?

Agree it nonsense,
Leave to go where?with no money she was stuck mentally and financially
This is so so sad. Almighty God please help these ladies

She needs to leave..but shes warned if she tries to then she will be killed.. omg. This is pure evil
You have a point. Nonetheless, no one should be forced against their will
@@DavidNkwa Do you think is about one’s “Will”?

Im thinking they want her to produce future warlords, considering the fact that the land they stay in is in ceaseless warring
Why will she got married to a dead man, I don't understand. Why?
This woman is a victim
This is purely demonic, all in the name of culture.
