Don't forget starkiller has clones so it's definitely possible but the only thing that bothers me is our starkiller wouldn't become a puppet to thrawn considering Vader & sidious are no longer alive..
This is the perfect window to bring in Starkiller especially in light of Ray Stevenson's passing. An unimaginable twist mid-season setting up a potential (Vader's secret apprentice vs Anakin's apprentice) in live action. Which also perfectly aligns with Ahsoka's "Master & Apprentice" theme.
Sam told us who Marrok is. A new rebranded for canon version of Starkiller. They couldn't use Galen Marek as he was portrayed in the games because he was too OP and if they nerf him in live action fans would be upset. So Filoni created a new version of the same character, an inquisitor secretly trained by Vader named Marrok.
@nyctom08 Nice! So he could be played by Sam Witwer though right? Who else but Witwer as an adapted version of Starkiller. We’re excited and optimistic!
@@stayontarget Marrok voice in episode 3 was almost EXACTLY like Darkside Starkiller from TFU. That was definitely Sam Whitwer's voice. I'm not sure if they're going to even call him Starkiller, but there is zero doubt now in my minnd, Marrok is voice acted by Sam Whitwer (there is a stunt MAN in the suit) and is an apprentice of Vader.
@Bismo Noice! Past Ep 4? He’s gotta step it up in order to make it happen. Decent fighting in 1/2, interested to see how he does in the next battle! At least if he gets stabbed with a saber we know he’ll be just fine, lol!
I was like 50% on this theory, and thinking I was mostly just delusional, but with every new piece of info I am more and more convinced - its like 99.9% chance its him, .09% a new random, .01% it's Kanan (as INSANE as that theory is, this theory makes far more sense than ezra as far as in universe explanations) TFU being in the media more frequently (switch remaster, prime gaming, Kota on wall in Kenobi, armor in Andor) VERY HEAVY Master and Apprentice theming for show Filoni wanted him to be canon as inquisitor in Rebels Father (Anakin), Daughter, Son (SK) parallels are VERY Filoni Voice Acting credits (not a smoking gun on its own, would only rule out if he's NOT working on the show) but you know they aren't foolish enough to put WHOEVER the actor behind the mask is in the credits until it is practically already revealed (maybe not enough for the normies, but normies probably aren't hyperanalzying credits to figure out who it is) I suspect to comply legally but not give it away, Marrok will not speak and it will be the stunt actor ONLY in the suit (a la Mando S3) until they are ready to reveal
@@xd51000 to be fair, its a stretch and hope they don't do this, but the case for it being Kanan: -Marrok = wolf transformed by Morgan magic; Night sisters also do some necromancy stuff, could be a resurrected/zombified Kanan transformed by Morgan Elsbeth to fight for them (the night sister necromancy made me take this seriously) PLUS he had some kind of connection with those Loth wolves (though I'm still confused, was HE the loth wolf at the end or what was going on there?) but that was ALSO an interesting tie in specifically to "Marrok" Then for a dose of reality, it's obviously NOT Freddie Prinz jr (he doesn't want to play the character again as the biggest piece) but they could just recast for live action, think on wookiepedia he is like 6ft+ in canon, so would also line up with stuntman height. So the reality behind it isn't totally ruled out either
@BreMue Love reading your thoughts and reasoning! Kanan would still be absolutely fascinating! Marrok would make Dustin super happy of course and make a ton of sense to bring him into live action like this! Keep your Ahsoka hot takes comin’, time will tell who Marrok truly is!
@Wolfspectre Great call! The sound was absolutely male, and if he were a throw away inquisitor why keep him masked and not give him any dialog? Come on Starkiller!
So long as people can appreciate that the character may not be brought in with the full/same story as in legends and that it will probably be done as a nod to, then it could work
@battmyne Yes, this is key. Just like Thrawn won’t be exactly like the legends Heir to the empire, Marrok/ Starkiller can still be vaders apprentice but an adapted version. Still played by Witwer is a must though lol
Star Killer is my favorite character......I want them to start him off really dark but, then let him get humbled/injured. Enter Juno...She helps him get back on his feet and he develops the emotion called love. This slowly turns him back to the light just enough to be balanced! Like he was in the force unleashed. Not quite a Sith but not a Jedi either. This would be perfect because Ahsoka isn't a Jedi either. Both of them would be greyed out versions of their respective paths. They could perhaps learn more about the force from each other.
@zazoreal Awesome! This would be epic. Love that story, it totally works and gives Ahsoka some classic Star Wars poetry. Lots if similarities to Starkiller!
This happens with every new Star Wars show. "THIS PERSON IS *blank*!!!" and then people get upset when it turns out to not be true. Is it possible? Yeah absolutely. But most of this is non-evidence. For one, Paul's build looks nothing like Sam. Paul is way skinnier than Sam is, you can tell in the arms. Most of this evidence means nothing other than their names being similar. All I'm saying is temper your expectations. No reason in being disappointed in something that was never promised.
@snowkhan99 You speak truth friend! Easy to get carried away with speculation, hopes and dreams but it’s also fun to do! We’re fully aware of Disney Star Wars not delivering on the potential so our hopes our neutral for sure. Optimistic that Witwer was in the end credits, but even a version of Starkiller at some point would just be insanely cool! Thanks for your feedback, appreciate the honesty!
@PJspitzer We are trained in Star Wars to be curious and speculate with people behind a mask that don’t speak lol. You are correct, poor Marrok is like, “guys can’t you just appreciate me for who I am?” We reply with, “Starkiller!”
@MrJaxon Yeah we don’t want nerfed Starkiller. We want Sam Witwer, and he’d definitely be a version of Starkiller otherwise yeah Ahsoka would already be dead lol
I think its Sam Some version of Starkiller Sam basically already said it himself plus he's in the credits and he definitely deserves a live action role this role is perfect for him a another thing I notice about starwars franchise is the last two major games the characters looks like the actors who play them like they already have it planned out for live action or a cameo
@Dancast-vy1is Exactly! Maybe we’ll get Cal Kestis at some point too! Sam deserves a live action role and Marrok has so much intrigue and mystery it would be epic, or at least a version of Starkiller/ Vaders apprentice to rival Ahsoka
Star killer would be a great inquisitor. But I feel like maybe a waste? He was pretty awesome in force unleashed but that’s not cannon? If filoni does bring him as canon I feel like he should be more…..advanced. But only time will tell! Edit: I thought about it more. And this makes sense. I still hope for darkside Ezra.
@hunterdavis80 Sick! Nice, yeah hopefully he wouldn’t be a waste. He would be OP, so they’d have to adapt him and make him a tad different. Ezra is still a possibility, the body and build of Marrok looks similar to Ezra and Ahsoka definitely sensed something when he jumped away! Time will indeed tell!
It definitely makes sense unlike "Ezra is the inquisitor" theory
@mondeepengti Yeah it’s way less of a stretch for it to be Starkiller for sure! Here’s hoping!

@SwaggerLikeUz Great call! We agree with you 1-Hondo!! A perfect transition
and 99% of the ppl will complain that he is too weak, as Filoni won't canonise Starkiller as he was in legends, he was way too op for no reason
I don't really know who Star killer is but your theory has convinced me he is Marrok.
