We can’t wait to hunt with Kane this year! Just one week away from wood duck and teal season. Y’all ready?
How many retreives kane end up with this year?
@@manbearpig6026 53 so far, still have a week and a half of season left though!
@@TheQuackAddicts tell the world to never mistaken the Chesapeake Bay retriever with a labrador labradors don't hunt like a Chesapeake Bay retriever
Oh yes you got one! And looks like a wonderful trainer also. Smart moves. Will be watching.
Man, he’s a tank! What’s he weigh? And that trainer did great with him! He’s gonna be a great hunting buddy!
You got that right, we can’t wait to hunt with him! He weighs right around 75lbs right now.
The Quack Addicts Wow, I woulda bet $5 he was 85+. My dude, Rocket, is only 60 lbs, but he’s a fireball. Look forward to your posts this season. Good luck!
Sounds like he lives up to that name then! Appreciate you watching man. Good luck to you this season too!
Dogs looking great! I get my lab back from my trainer tomorrow.
Ive hunted with mine one day and its gonna be a great year.
Enjoy your early woodduck and teal season!
Heck yeah, thanks man! We’re definitely excited for it.
Good looking poodle
Chessie!!
Born to do it!
Wow nice job guys Well on your way
Just browsing and seen this. I love watching another Chessie working or training. I see the trainer is using the standard " Blind, wide double mark with diversion" seasoned HRC test scenario. To bad you can't train the dog yourself, you will have a more loyal dog. You can do everything this trainer is doing, and save many thousands of dollars. Understand, I am not dishing the trainer, and, Chessies are harder to train than other retrievers, but you will understand the frustrations, and enjoy your dogs accomplishments more. Good luck and safe hunting with Kane.
Exactly! He did a great job with Kane, he's been doing great all season long so far.
@@TheQuackAddicts Enjoy the season you have, Southern Illinois teal season was a bust again, as usual. I took Ellie Rose hunting 3 times, had 3 wood ducks land in the deeks, thats it ( which we do not have an early wood duck season). I scouted the whole area, sub impoundments and all, only a hand full of teal, and they were in the Refuge. There is just nothing here at the Rend Lake area anymore to hold ducks. But we keep training and working on obedience and manners. She is just lacking the experience and maturity that only actual hunting can provide. Good luck and stay safe hunting with Kane.
watermaine appreciate that! Yeah our early season was a blast this year. Not to mention we had some killer dove hunts too. Can’t wait for y’all to see em! Good luck this duck season. 🤘🏻
Great job!!!
Good looking pup! I'm thinking about getting a Chessy when it's time to retire my lab in a few years.
Looks good man 👍
Appreciate it bub, we’re proud of him.
Good video!
Appreciate it man!
Hello 👍! what company and what kind of whistle model?
Great video. Do Chesapeake dogs pheasant hunt?
Mine does
Good Looking
Doesn't that hurt his ears? Genuinely curious
Where did you buy him from :)
Seth drove out to Kansas and got him from a breeder out there.
