Truly, both are nice and very capable. If I could take the Ram interior and put in that Shelby Raptor, then that would be a truck worth standing in line for. I am waiting to see what tuning houses like Hennessy will do with the Ram TRX. I liked the Raptors tire set up, very unique and aggressive looking. Great video, cannot wait to see more truck content!

I bleave u can drive the TRX with 2 weel drive if u put it in sport mode. It has all those driving modes it also has sport mode to and puts it in 2 weel drive and turns traction control off and u can drive it just like a normal truck. But who wants to drive just a normal truck with one hell of a cat screaming at u and one big carnivore dinosaur coming after u ready to eat u! U can always put a cup of water on the Dashboard or the cup holder and see it shake when it’s coming!
For the price I’d go for the ram and I am really bias with Ford. Huge Ford fan but for the price of the Shelby just WAY over price for what you get. For the $35-45k over stock raptor not getting that much for your money. I’d just use that money and upgrade the raptor myself and make absolutely more capable then the Shelby raptor for same amount money.
The Shelby Baja raptor shits on the TRX. TRX tried to keep up with me and the dunes and his suspension broke. The only thing the TRX is good for us driving fast in a straight line all that horsepower means nothing in the dirt and the On the Shelby raptor is far more superior than the suspension on the TRX
The sad thing is no matter if you buy the $95k trx or the $122k Shelby raptor modded to hell there are still gonna be people whom are not satisfied with what they are getting so if you buy the trx and start modding it you are gonna be pretty damn close to the price of the raptor
I would choose the ram hands down my favorite it’s looks better to me sounds better and faster then the Shelby raptor and I can pocket 27,000 dollars in savings to do whatever I want. good review Ben 👍👍👍

The Shelby looks great from outside has a lot of nice features I was totally leaning towards the Ford until I saw the interior . Unfortunately Ford is still 3 years behind on their interior.
Funny how people say a truck ain’t a truck without a v8 and hate the 6cyl eco boost but yet love 6cyl Cummins. Only people hating is people that would never buy a off roader. I have 2 hellcat engines pulled apart right now . Both blew around 70k miles on them. Both were rebuilt one with upgraded bearings. The one that got the upgraded bearings was babied I know for sure. Now both are ripped back down again with 150k miles. The babied one twisted and shattered a rod on start up putting a fist sized hole in the block. The other sits with the worst spun bearings I’ve ever seen. I’m trying to get one good one out of the 2. Now these are on cars. The weight of them stresses a already stressed engine. I like them but I’m the first to admit they are horrible and need a redesign. I’ve yet to see one hit 100k miles. What do you think is going to happen when you add all the extra weight of the TRX. A regular tuned ecoboost beats a TRX in a race if that’s what you want is speed. Plus it’s way better off roading. The front of a TRX falls like a brick and everyone knew that would happen. I love e v8s but know this is a terrible idea. Coyotes which the Gt500s is based off push 1000hp and run 8s in mustangs all day. It’s a far more superior engine. As much as I hate a v6 . The raptor has proven itself and got more people to cross shop from Chevy and dodge them any other vehicle. This Baja is just a tune truck which I would never pay for for the Shelby packages Roush Harley Hennessy etc you are paying for a name for stuff you can do for a fraction of the price. Plus if you want to go fast just buy a mustang and a raptor and tune it for the same price as a TRX. Plus idk if ppl think the Baja Shelby raptor has v8 . No it doesn’t. Its a tuned ecoboost. It’s a package done by Shelby. It’s different then Ford putting the Shelby name on the Gt500s and gt350. Plus all these damn TRX already having 4wd and transmission issues is ridiculous for a $100,000 truck.
Well I mean v6 tows more than the trx while having getting better fuel mileage while still having plenty of power for off roading. Cause 700+ hp isn't really needed
If I'm buying a truck for off road use it will definitely be the Raptor. If I'm going to go to the drag strip every weekend, then definitely thr TRX. For jumping and use in soft snow the trx will have issues as its heavy, especially in the front.
Sometimes they will have that in case the sensor for the adaptive is having issues because the CC on lots of cars won't work if the adaptive sensor isn't working

it's all what you want to do with your truck, my truck got 11mpg when I bought it, tuned it and 25mpg pretty regular and I can tow my equipment that usually weights more than these trucks do. now if you could just get computer chips to run them. keep the sun roof and put a 5 speed stick with an overdrive in one - Shelby all day
The TRX wins in most areas. Ford needs to make better rear cup holders for off-roaders, seriously, these blow. The Shelby back end was better looking and has the more functional tire rack/spares. But the sound of that supercharger can’t be beat.
Wait for the Raptor R don't get stuck with either of these, the Raptor v6 or v8 will run the baja 1000 completely stock the TRX transmission will blow if worked to hard
I vote TRX for the reason is the price worth $95,000 compared to a Shelly Baja Raptor $122,000 come with the ultimate off-roader truck around $27,000. Shelly Baja Raptor is not worth my money in my wallet. :D
Keep the tune, rims and tires and lose all the Shelby bolt ons and emblems from the raptor you’d have a decent truck. Being that the raptor Weighs a lot less it might be a pretty good race.
I am not hating on the Raptor, but a V6 vs a V8? RAM all the way! With that said Shelby is coming out with a F-250 V8 Raptor. You should compare those when it comes out.

I'm a value guy. The Raptor has a history of unreliability. Sorry Ben but the TRX is a Chrysler (need I elaborate?). I'd opt for a Silverado RST , Trail Boss or Tundra TRD Pro
