Say you get selected in May and you submit the DS 260 within 2 months (eg, by the end of July), when do you get called for an interview? How soon do you think we should submit the documents? Are too months too long to be taken? Also, if there are differences( eg. changes in spelling) in your name on the birth certificate, against other documents you must submit, can you submit an affidavit (attested by the foreign ministry) to the embassy? Do they accept those? Thank you once again for all that you're doing to keep us well informed and actually, keep us grounded. All the best!
interview time depends on your case number, visa bulletin and interviewing capacity of embassy.if have low cn you can get interview soon.if it is high have to wait patiently .
If one is willing to work and give one hundred percent, the path is clear. In SL, young adults are not happy because even if they work so hard, their hard work does not get recognized. Promotions are given not according to performance, but for various other reasons that we all know. Due to this, it is near impossible even for graduates to come to a certain level in that society. Plus, the rich and English speaking society somehow do not encourage others to learn that language - that is a ver6 strange phenomenon there. Once you land in a western country, the sky is the limit. People get fluent in the language super fast and things get easier. Not to say that life is easy as this lady says, but hard work gets rewarded.

Hi amma, as I have mentioned in my previous videos, age is not a barrier in the USA. They don't care about your age. If someone questions about the age, it is considered as "discrimination" and you can sue that person.
Any Sri Lankan citizen can apply, where you live today do not matter. In my case, I applied while I was working in Qatar. But the important thing is that if you are abroad, you should have gone there and living there legally. I am saying this because there are instances where people have gone to another country and overstayed their Visa. If you win the DV and if you are living illegally in a foreign country, it will be an automatic disqualification.

Since you will be facing your interview in the UK, you will need to have your education certificates in person, no need for a token.
