    Very good story 👏
I am glad you gave him the benefit of the doubt until he proved himself.
Also, be proud of your good intuitions 💯

    Innocent rogue face lol.
Thank you for the video. This video actually gives me comfort. I have been stolen from someone in that country. I gave that person too much benefit of the doubt. I was being charged $70 for 2 bags of charcoal. Which should have been under $20. Not only that, I was trying to help that person's family too. I was being scammed for years. At first, I felt some way about it for a while. At the same time, we will reap what we sow. I believe I will receive credit for doing good deeds no matter if I was tricked or not.

The problem with most of our people in Liberia is the entitlement. They claimed that the country is hard and there’s no job in the country. But when you give them a piece of job, they mishandle it

You did well to even tolerate him for days. I fired my driver the first day he went to the building materials store & got a fake invoice for materials claiming it was from the store and wanted me to give him the money to pay for those building materials Not knowing he was in arrangements with the store guy to give him the inflated invoice. I went there and pay myself and noticed I was saving over USD600 just for the huge purchased by dealing with store owners directly. I fired him on the spot. The other guy came and started using my vehicle as Taxi while consuming my gas. I fired him the next day after finding out. Now, I am driving my vehicle myself and is happy. The new government has so far brought order in the traffic and it has been wonderful. Whenever my wife is in Liberia, she drive herself. Some of our people lacks discipline and like to steal business.

Thank you for the story time. I really did enjoy it. This is really a learning process .When it comes to trusting people out there. Liberians really need to learn how to build relationships rather than just running in for what they can get. Most of them have really big eyes for other people, things. And end up ruining a friendship that can last for a lifetime. I hope they learn from some of there mistakes. NO, BETTER DO BETTER We just have to educate them. And pray it gets better. Thanks for the story time again. Stay strong, stay blessed out there.❤❤❤

These stories sounds very scary to hire any help. I think there should be an agency that train people for employment and they can guarantee their employees work ethic.

My driver took my car to be fixed and while the mechanic went to buy parts they exchanged all 4 of my new tire for old ones. They were not even the right size for the car. I drive myself mostly now or use our mechanic to drive me at times.

It is bordering on ridiculous how these people steal. When you try to treat them with kindness, they want to take advantage of you. It is crazy!! Like you, there is no way I can drive in Liberia.

Good husband, Joy. Your husband is one of those people who gives others the benefit of the doubt; trust others until you cannot trust them no more.

I know you coming from a society where giving people opportunities is a norm and so I see why it was easy for you to be convinced to give this young guy a chance although you were hesitant at first. But simply put, regardless of the age, our people, not all, will find every slightest chance to take advantage of you couple with the sense of entitlement. I would have rejected his recommendation based on just his age and lack of sufficient driving experience.

You got time replying to such comments.
No.1, like you say, you and your family safety is paramount.
2, You are providing a living for someone in need of a job to feed their family.
3, I'm certain you are educating the driver of how to be a safer driver, which is also of great help to them.
    Do your thing 👌🏿.
