As far as the garden goes, everything is doing great and is recovering and replenishing from the hard frost in December!
    I hope you enjoy this update video!
    Also my Biological Compost Tea is now available to purchase!!!

    God Bless you In Jesus Name.
    Thank you for bringing fresh stuff to a local ish area.
    I'm in Hudson / Bayonet Point Florida and we really need a farm here and fresh markets. They were here when I was little and they're gone. Churches and businesses used to let Stands go in parking lots.

    Can't believe I found you again Nick. For the longest time I was watching you at Paul's. Then you stopped doing video. I just watched Justin's channel and saw your in Florida... My home state born and raised. I grew up in Orlando in the early 80s and moved to Brandon in 1996. But I moved to Northeast Alabama to Lookout Mtn in 2015 and been homesteading here since.. I gardened in Florida. The hardest thing for me was yellow squash. They'd grow but end up molding on the vines from too much humidity. I dont have any problems here in clay soil and low humidity. Everything grows wonderful in my horses manure too. I have 2 horses and ton of chickens. Lol. But Good to see you back doing well. Your garden is Beautiful. I wish lots of luck on your new venture. I always thought Willow is such a gorgeous pup. He looks happy too. 😊

    Hi, what a beautiful garden you have! As I’m watching I wonder how you water all your vegetables. I do see your sprinklers… Can you talk about why you like sprinklers over weeping hoses and how you had to plan for watering your garden? Thank you. Watching your beautiful garden brings me joy. You are an amazing gardener.

    Broccoli at last! Impressed by the 10 squirrel tally, sometimes removing varmints is necessary. Once folks realize your produce is organic and see the quality, it will sell. The alternative in Florida FTMP is going to Sprouts/WF and buying Cali produce. Enjoyed chatting with you yesterday and love my 2 new loquat trees.

      The darn squirrels are more “regenerative” than any farm I’ve been to 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣🤷🏻‍♂️. I’ve had to shoot over 120 of them since I’ve been here… they are the furry tailed rats of the trees… there is just so much food for them in the farm that there is nothing stopping them from over populating!
      And yeah It was nice meeting you and chatting! Glad you are happy with your trees!

    Garden is Beautiful! I'm a native floridian who moved to NE AL to homestead in 2015. I have to warn you about the FIRE ANTS. They absolutely love woodchips. It may be a challenge to grow vegetable gardens in FL. Not impossible but harder because of humidity heat and fire ants. If anyone can be successful in doing it, its definitely You. I wish you lots of luck. I believe because it so tougher and why all the farmer's markets down there have wholesale vegetables from other states and countries. Tomatoes grow well and Zellwood corn, green beans. Anything heat loving. I'll be watching to learn how you do it. 👍

    Do you know that fennel in a perennial n zone 9? You can cut the bulbs and leave the roots and they will regrow more bulbs.

      Yeah I use to do that in Washington state actually. But it seems to be more biannual and died off after the second year of growth once it’s flowers… variety might also play a roll in that too though

      I do the tasty Tuesday farmers market in downtown new port richey at the library from 9-1 every week and then the Trinity farmers market at the Trinity commons grounds the first Saturday of every month. I’m also a consultant so if you are interested you can send an email and we can schedule a consultation.

      @@GrowingBackToEden I thought what you have here is an example of a back to eden garden, where you grow and sell your produce (market). Im in Columbia Maryland. Howard County. Sorry for the confusion, I assumed that was what you meant by the title.

    • @GrowingBackToEden
      @GrowingBackToEden  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@nkechinwandu7603 I gotcha. Yeah I do local farmers markets. I’m in Florida currently. I’m not till and regenerative so not just your standard “BTE” wood chip garden. I do things a lot differently and have my own methods for stuff. And I’m not sure about any markets out there in particular. I’ve got family in Howard county though lol. My grandfather opened up the Ledos pizza restaurant in Fulton way back when and now my uncle owns it.
