What I like about this, is it's vaguely similar to the New Order's title screen music, with it starting out intense, then becoming calm and mellow in the middle, and then back to intense at the end.
@@thelordofthelostbraincells Better late than never, QCDE is a mod for Doom that makes it play similarly if not closely to Quake Champions (DE standing for Doom Edition). Think about it as Smash Bros but with guns and legendary video game characters.
This is FUCKING ORGASMIC. I swear to God I haven't had this much fun listening to a game soundtrack cover in a long while. This is phenomenal work and you deserve more recognition for this masterpiece. I especially love the bit at the second half which begins at 2:40 where the music just makes me feel like going in guns blazing, thinking about nothing but victory and protecting my loved ones.
Wait, this was originally a Wolf 3D midi? I haven't played much of it and all these years I assumed that this was specifically designed to be the music for the final reel after Icon of Sin, which just happened to "bleed" into being MAP31 music track also. Woah. So it turns out they reused a midi from the Wolf 3D expansion - still wolfenstein but not the midi used on the actual level (which MAP31 is a remake of).
The gameplay footage is like a game journalist got their hands on the game and said it's too hard. Edit: I should have kept watching, but the footage lingered in the jail room for so long.
True, it was probably Markie playing on keyboard only, hell, I would take slower if I couldn't figure out how to use the mouse. At least, that's my hypothesis. I played this game for free online, it was sooooo shitty with keyboard only.
Isn't second track called "Wondering About My Loved Ones"? "My Loved Ones Are Gone" is the name of the cover by Psycho Crusher, but not the original track title.
