I've discovered, and after 15 years of intensive independent research have been able to prove, that Charles Dickens wasn't the original author of "A Christmas Carol." It was, as I have concluded, written by Mathew and Abby Whittier, an American couple, who intended it to be a spiritualist redemption story. It was only Dickens who hurriedly secularized and commercialized it, within six weeks, into a "Ghost Story of Christmas."
