I am ex military and have always avoided std bicep curls. In the big scheme of things, for hypertrophy purposes, does having the hands close enough to touch each other provide enough biceps stimulation to grow them to 90 % of their potential? And/or will just doing them at std width like your vid shows enough for most of the growth possible?

Thank you for your service, Sir. Simply put, focus on strict chins and pulls. Studies show lower amounts of activity in the biceps (traps and lats too) during the kipping pull-up than in the other strict variations. I've created proven tactical strength and conditioning system here, with exact sets and reps for every exercise... www.tacticalbodyweightworkouts.com/ Good news is that you don't need equipment. I include a nutrition plan too.

Thanks, but you did not answer my question. I did not ask about kipping...BTW, I am not hating, your vid example does not include any pause as the audio recommends.

Thank you for your comment, Sir. The focus here is to minimize swinging and kipping. On all vertical pulling moves, it's best to pause, and retract the shoulder blades, at the bottom of each rep. Even if it's just for a fraction of a second. Please let me know what other videos you want me to cover.
