NYMTA | Jamaica Center Bus Observations 4/5/17

Most of the sightings in this video are of New York City Transit and MTA Bus vehicles, though NICE Bus shows up as well. Footage was taken at 153rd Street and Archer Avenue, Jamaica, Queens. Sightings include:
Several MTA Bus New Flyer XD60 Xcelsior articulateds
Two NYCT New Flyer XD60 Xcelsior articulateds on the Q44 SBS
NICE Bus Orion V CNG ex-LI Bus
NICE Bus Orion V CNG ex-Foothill Transit
Numerous MTA Bus New Flyer C40LFs
Numerous NYCT NovaBUS LFS 40-footers, mainly out of Jamaica Depot
Ex- Casey Stengel NYCT Orion VII hybrids on Queens Village Depot's Q83 line

The 5 XD60's are already out on the N6. I saw them on RUclips.

RadRoad Reversers i know they are, I shot all 5 of them...in one day I might add. Still not sure when the Vs will be retired.

Correction XN60s not XD60s, every NICE bus are 100% CNGs

Why am I not seeing that much Orion v's these days. What number Orion v's are still active as of now.

RadRoad Reversers All of NYC Transit's Orion Vs and MTA Bus' Orion V CNGs are retired from revenue service. NICE has a few but I did not observe any this particular day.

Do you know when the last few Orion v's will be retired.

There are several Orion V CNGs up for auction as we speak, but I believe they should be retiring them around this time due to the service cuts and operating those 5 artics on the N6...
