if it swings away, I would probably try to jimmy the latch with a credit card to get the door to open. if it swings toward you, you could remove the pin on the henges and take the door off to get it open.
The handle locks, then the side that comes off is probably the inside hat you can’t get too. You can sometimes jimmy the door with a card like an old credit card and push the latch enough to open the door.

what do you do if the the door is closed and unable to access the screws from inside the door? Screws are also showing threads from outside the door?

What if the door is locked? Currently locked out of my bedroom and I’m not able to push that small button in to get the actual handle off.
