Always great to see more Evergrey! So a little background, Carina Englund (Tom's now ex-wife) was also involved with a few bands, namely Overload, Incarnated, and Helvetica. She is actually one of the main reasons Tom ever started singing as originally he only wanted to play guitar, but she encouraged him to try it (and we all thank her for it). She also did extensive background vocals on a great many Evergrey albums, as did their daughter. I know Tom is now remarried (sorry Ginger lol), however, the final song she did with Evergrey is absolutely beautiful! "Paradox of the Flame" off of 2016's "The Storm Within" is stunning, with a beautiful video to match. It also takes the form of a duet and I think you would love it! Also, a quick aside, I LOVE the title track off The Storm Within and I also HIGHLY recommend it, though no video was made for it.
This is one of the live performances that shines. When my hair was waist length I would put it up on top of my head. One of those things that you deal with as a rocker in a band.

A couple of Evergrey songs had come up on my playlist earlier today. So this was perfect timing. Loved it Good one guys That last conversation got me thinking of when Paul Gilbert, guitarist of Mr Big, got his hair caught in a black & decker drill on stage. Didn't end well 🤣🤣
Thanks guys! I don't think it can be overstated... We all need more Evergrey in our lives! I can't remember if you've reacted to his duet with Floor Jansen, titled IN ORBIT. I have a couple favorites, but his catalog is rich with some great tracks. I really like TOUCH OF BLESSING and THE GRAND COLLAPSE but not to be oveq was arlooked are WHERE AUGUST MOURN or ETERNAL NOCTURNAL A breath of fresh air.
Simple but oh so powerful. Oh the hair. I put mine in a man bun. That way you can free roll. Let it grow back Ginger. This song dated from 1998 …… (the long hair is how he looked back then). Btw. some websites say "married", some say "divorced" ......the real deal = ?????
