    QUESTION OF THE DAY: What's size M12 batteries do you mostly use? Would you spend the money to get the M12 XC 6.0 battery?

    • @mannyc805
      @mannyc805 2 года назад +1

      I use the 6.0 mostly on my m12 speaker m12 blower and on the m12 rocket light . I would only buy the 6.0 if I need more and are on sale 👍

      @@mannyc805 I've been getting by with smaller M12 batteries until last month where I finally picked up a 6ah. I'm glad I upgraded.

      6.0 mainly but do use the 4.0 and smaller sometimes

      I have a few 6.0 that were a good deal. I like them for lights and they’d be good for that fan too.

    Great video. The red Milwakee test ribbon clearly had more flap and hangtime than the inferior gold ribbon.

    The packout work top is nice but often not enough room, cut a piece of 3/4 plywood wider but not deeper and screw to the packout top. Finish how you like and clip the fan to it. 2 birds 1 stone

    I’m sure if the magnetic hold is an issue for certain situations you can easily add a couple strong magnets to the base.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  2 года назад

      That's true. It holds strong on smooth metal surfaces.

      @@MarkThomasBuilder I’m actually about to pick one of these up. Never had a battery powered fan before but I’m severely allergic to heat 😂

    How do you think it would hold up in a very humid environment/get misted occasionally. I'm a dishwasher and it gets hot back there

      I think it would work fine for that. Best of all, no cords to worry about.

      @@MarkThomasBuilder Any chance you got the runtime on low for the 2.0? Based on the results (1.5 hours on high, 3 hours on medium) I'd expect 4-4.5 on low but just wanted to see if you ever tested. I have several 2.0s but no larger M12 batteries and wondering for overnight campouts. I wake up a few times at night during campouts anyway, so not a big deal to swap a battery. Seems like a 5.0 would run about 10 hours on low, maybe 7-8 on medium.
