While it may be true that T-crash will be the more consistent/compatible super, the survivability/team utility on Sunbreaker is a factor that Arc Titan doesn't really come close to matching (at least, imao).

Pyrogale is such a fantastic solo exotic. You have your bonkhammers for addclear/survivability/buffstack and you can use your super once, be done with it and continue hammering. I find this to be an amazing solo or small group solar titan exotic.

While Stormcaller DPS isn't great, with the recent changes to Geomags (ionic traces give super) giving really high super uptime, i do think the tradeoff of less damage is potentially worth it for the convenience in dealing with majors/Minibosses imo.

You should definitely try using the titan bubble glaive to pop a bubble and hotswap to 2 slugs so you can utilize no backup plans on any subclass by jumping in and out of the bubble whenever your shield is broken as it lasts 15 seconds and gives a full overshield when you walk inside for even a moment and can hotswap to damage exotics, probably not the best but i use it with tractor radiant and double slug/ag frame on solar and the damage is very strong :)
@@TheAegisRelicit works well on whatever the name is for the knight boss in GOTD. I've used it and I'm not that good at dps but got way less phases than when I did the regular syntho hammer dps
Higher FPS making tic damage do more has been patched several times for targeted instances. Used to be the case but the final fps fix I think was shortly after RoN came out.

small criticism in terms of arc souls: you showed off needlestorm hitting a debuffed target, citing 528k damage, but only didn't apply that same debuff when calculating arc souls. If we're counting debuffs, then arc souls would do nearly 6k dps per player. At 6k dps per player, that would roughly 1m damage over the course of a 30s dps phase, which seems like a lot to try and make up for just with reload skips of course, a shorter dps phase means arc souls lose out on a ton, and it doesn't help the super being poopy, but still

I would like to note that the first section is controversial due to it not being an intended game mechanic. FPS-based damages are bugs, and they *have* existed until bungie fixes them, such as the Leviathan's breath (cheese forever has a video from when this worked) and the EXTREMELY old 1000 Voices glitch where you could reduce your resolution scale to minimum and one shot almost anything in the game. There's also the more simple things like gravity working differently at higher FPS, and the numerous fixes to hitscan weapons being projectiles as high frame rates and odd ranges. The game was designed to be played at 60 FPS or less, the engine is frame bound. These glitches are bound to happen.
How much does being amplified increase arc soul dps? Would it be worth using if we ever get an option to provide a teamwide amplified buff (like the new hinter aspect with final shape)
regarding FPS it was my understanding that the game knows what fps you are playing at and scales the damage accordingly so the numbers might appear better but the health bar progress is similar. on that token its detrimental to have players cross playing with pc's and xbox due to the potential difference in framerates as the game cant effectively scan every player the whole time. so it reads the highest fps rate initially and sets the health and damage scalars accordingly.

Re: Marksman Golden Gun and Well of Radiance - someone told me they had patched Well of Radiance overriding Radiant sometime in the last few months, but I can’t confirm this anywhere :(
They didn't patch it lol I tested this within the last week, also on those bosses Goldie is fine (certain projectile supers from other classes are also not an option as a result)
as of today leviathans breath does almost DOUBLE damage with 165 fps vs 60 fps, i have tried this multiple times today alone and it is consistently doing more dmg with more fps

I don't get the radiant /knock em down perk? Well+goldy does more damage but its not buffed, but you rarher have radiant+foldy fir a buff, but why? Also can you radiant+goldy then go back into well or no?

I don't know if I just messed it up, but I think for bosses like akelous from spire golden gun actually does more damage than blade barrage, the same should apply to first garden boss. So maybe there it has application

I'm wondering if you have a good rotation I can do on my titan. I was thinking of Izanagi swap with a arc subclasses with the grenadier exotic throwing pulse nades and a demo fusion or solar titan with pyrogale for a solar burst super. What are your thoughts on what I should do?
You can proc bait and manually reload after your envi/rr runs out until BnS timer is up then proc it again, just focus on your buff timers and you're good

Specifically with Banner of war in a melee build does the Flechette storm melee do more damage than just the normal frenzied blade melee? From what I've seen and used I would think it maybe beats it out in total damage but loses in dps, mostly due to unravel though this is just a guess. I guess even if it does less damage it does have the benefit of being quite long ranged so it can be used on bosses that are more difficult to get close to.
Kind of disagree on Arc Souls. It's certainly worse on short phases or if you're killing a boss in 10 seconds or less, but for day 1, it's a lot of free damage considering most DPS phases in the game last for 20-30s. It adds up to more than 600-700k damage over a full DPS phase. It's true that you don't get free reloads and your overall DPS is probably lower, but that is only true if you're full on heavy ammo for every phase (which will depend heavily on your team's heavy ammo generation and availability of mini-bosses).
@@TheAegisRelic You sure about that? Arc Soul lasts for 15sec after you leave the rift or it expires, your rift cooldown is 48s on max recovery and also lasts 15sec, and Arc Soul boosts class ability regen while near allies (plus you can throw a grenade or melee with Bolstering Detonation or Focusing Strike to reduce the CD by another 12sec). Seems like that should be almost continuous uptime. Obviously the flaw is Chaos Reach and rift animations being long, but in a sufficiently ammo-starved environment (long boss DPS phases and few opportunities for Cenotaph etc) I think there's a world where it works out. I get the sense Crota's End won't be like that, but I do think it's at least worth having to repeatedly answer this question LOL.
Does Arc Soul really increase rift regen rate near allies? That's actually pretty sick I was just thinking if a phase goes beyond 15s there's other considerations for your subclass because by then you're also starting to run out of rockets
Have you tested out the levi breath before or after the chunking fix with gjally? Maybe they fell under the same category so they both got struck down. I would've testeded it out myself but I don't have the tools unfortunately ^^;

Consecration does less damage unless you cast it before the super which doesn't really count as the super itself, it's like me including a 12P Knockout Seismic Strike with Thundercrash

If you have their catalysts; Leviathan's Breath, Gally, Two Tailed Fox for exotics, and if rockets are the play some adaptive or aggressive frame w/ field prep so you get the reload scalar while crouched and extra reserves. I was a well warlock with competing top dps day 1 roots of nightmare with a simple field prep+lasting impression crafted Red Herring just crouch spamming rockets until I ran out, then swapping to a fusion.
Question: When it comes to surge mods (assuming you're only using two surge mods), is it better to stack one mod for one of your damage types (ie Kinetic) and the other for your second damage type (ie solar) for Izzy swapping, wither hoard tick damage, etc. or is it better to go all in for two solar surges to maximize rocket damage? Furthermore, is it worth investing a single surge mod for kinetic assuming you're using star eater/nighthawk Golden Gun Damage, or not?

Well is a 25% weapon buff but boots of assembler with a emp rift gives 35% the higher number will always over ride the lower number

For specials you lose almost nothing for heavies you lose a lot so just be aware of that and you're good

We tested with very very spaced out individual shots on two different PCs and were never able to replicate it on a raid boss

The new debuff refreshes the timer of the old one instead of replacing it

Kind of disagree on Arc Souls. It's certainly worse on short phases or if you're killing a boss in 10 seconds or less, but for day 1, it's a lot of free damage considering most DPS phases in the game last for 20-30s. It adds up to more than 600-700k damage over a full DPS phase. It's true that you don't get free reloads and your overall DPS is probably lower, but that is only true if you're full on heavy ammo for every phase (which will depend heavily on your team's heavy ammo generation and availability of mini-bosses).
It becomes a toss up on long phases because the Arc Souls also run out lol

Arc Soul lasts for 15sec after you leave the rift or it expires, your rift cooldown is 48s on max recovery and also lasts 15sec, and Arc Soul boosts class ability regen while near allies (plus you can throw a grenade or melee with Bolstering Detonation or Focusing Strike to reduce the CD by another 12sec). Seems like that should be almost continuous uptime.
Obviously the flaw is Chaos Reach and rift animations being long, but in a sufficiently ammo-starved environment (long boss DPS phases and few opportunities for Cenotaph etc) I think there's a world where it works out. I get the sense Crota's End won't be like that, but I do think it's at least worth having to repeatedly answer this question LOL.

I was just thinking if a phase goes beyond 15s there's other considerations for your subclass because by then you're also starting to run out of rockets
Have you tested out the levi breath before or after the chunking fix with gjally? Maybe they fell under the same category so they both got struck down. I would've testeded it out myself but I don't have the tools unfortunately ^^;

The majority of her hitbox simply doesn't take damage from the globs, probably the same reason why Dimensional doesn't work now either

Consecration does less damage unless you cast it before the super which doesn't really count as the super itself, it's like me including a 12P Knockout Seismic Strike with Thundercrash
To answer your other questions, you can't get a rift after your swap subclasses quickly, and no, 2 agg frame heavies eat your third heavy attack

@@johnnyboi7918 it's not super hard, but if it's really a problem for some reason, check the spreadsheet. Probably something like Leviathan's Breath or Acrius depending on the situation.
If you have their catalysts; Leviathan's Breath, Gally, Two Tailed Fox for exotics, and if rockets are the play some adaptive or aggressive frame w/ field prep so you get the reload scalar while crouched and extra reserves. I was a well warlock with competing top dps day 1 roots of nightmare with a simple field prep+lasting impression crafted Red Herring just crouch spamming rockets until I ran out, then swapping to a fusion.
Question: When it comes to surge mods (assuming you're only using two surge mods), is it better to stack one mod for one of your damage types (ie Kinetic) and the other for your second damage type (ie solar) for Izzy swapping, wither hoard tick damage, etc. or is it better to go all in for two solar surges to maximize rocket damage?
Furthermore, is it worth investing a single surge mod for kinetic assuming you're using star eater/nighthawk Golden Gun Damage, or not?
