Absolutely. I never understood people who're like "boohooo, they're not allowed to hit as hard as in the good ol' days anymore!" and disregard everything else this sport has to offer, like the immense athleticism and raw power it takes to play football on a professional level.
One funny hit at my schools homecoming game back in the 90's was when one of our players ( an amputee ) got tackled so hard his prosthetic leg came off and went flying down the field . The guy who tackled him was freaking out thinking he actually hit him hard enough to tear his leg off , everyone on our side of the bleachers and all our players , including the guy with the prosthetic leg were laughing while the opposing side was staring like we were a bunch of nutcases .
Gotta start them young to take hits like that, get up and keep going. Not a pussy sport like soccer or lacrosse. The closest they have is rugby, which can get rough since they don't wear pads, but if you hit someone like that in rugby you'd get ejected.
Football is an impact sport man. I remember when I was on the side lines at one of my games, during a kick return, getting ready to hit the field. Love the reactions. If you didn’t know, almost 70% of America’s best athletes play American football at one time. That being said, the amount of kids to college age young men that get hurt so bad they can’t play professionally is not high, but imagine how good the USA would be in soccer, tennis, and other sports if the majority grew up playing that sport. Only the tech put into the pads and the rules alleviate the injuries. Being a former Allstate quarterback from a powerful school in Texas, I can tell you a lot of us that ran 4.4 in the 40 never got a chance to show up in any sport bc of one of these not so common hits. Being a 3 sport starter, I had a soccer and baseball scholarship, until I was injured. With all that being said, American football is the most fun sport to watch by far. There are no regrets, I ended up going to med school, and I never miss a cowboys game.
Yes, people have died in this sport. Chucky Mullins was a kid from our area that died, his story is on youtube. Then on youtube search simply "Tatum Stingley" for a story of a player that gets paralyzed, and the player who was NOT sorry for doing it. Then watch the youtube video entitled "Gregg Williams Saints Bounty Audio" to hear a coach instructing his players to INTENTIONALLY hurt players, and to "go for the head". It's freaking SPOOKY! He and his head coach were suspended for a year for this, but only after winning the SUPER BOWL!! Best wishes!
As a Giants fan I must recommend you watch a Saquon Barkley video. He was a rookie last year and has insane touchdowns. As always though, love the reactions.
It's not the hit itself. Most hits and tackles don't hurt at all. Its actually fun. The real problem is the kinetic energy that's displaced. It's that energy which causes head trauma and concussions. Plus it's hard to see on a screen but the difference in size between players is huge. One guy is 6'5 and weighs 310 hitting someone 6'0 190.
Fam, a legit strategy in the sport is to shut a troublesome player down hard enough that they need to be checked out. Then they aren't in the game for awhile.
I remember that game. Reggie Bush (#25, when you ask the first time "how is he not dead") took like 2 steps, then collapsed and tried to crawl off the field before the medical staff stopped him. Also, when you said "that can't be legal" at the time of the hit, it was. now both blind side blocks and crackback blocks are illegal.

Brits sometimes call american football NFL, weather it's NFL, college, or high school. They call soccer football and have to differentiate between the two. My buddy from Cali calls all soda, coke. He'll ask for a coke, you ask what flavor, he'll say "mountain dew"
@@AdamCouser btw collegiate football is way better than the nfl!
@@aggresive_hef6103 I couldn't agree more, especially with all the big rules and regulations that restrict the big hits in the NFL that we used to see when I was growing up. College football on the other hand you still to this day see some monster hits, even on QB's
"Next he's gonna give him the Peoples Elbow." Lmao
3:19 no google I’m thinking longest yard the newer one with Adam Sandler
I thought he said name the movie this film was from? Did he mean song?
isaac martz he asked what movie the song was from, the longest yard being the movie
Agree I love longest yard
This song is from the movie “Here Comes the Boom”.
@@LizAya22 The song in Here comes the Boom is the song Boom by P.O.D
The song is from the movie “the longest yard”
@Daniel Hayes its at the end in the credits
This dude probably thinking, “Yooo where’s the red card!”
Lil kids was most likely pee wee league. Thats that real football!
I miss pop warner leagues that shit was lit as a kid
Brits-"what's going on?"
Me:"Just another normal day, these are things we dream of"
From someone who watched football many times his reactions are fricking hilarious
No google Kevin James HERE COMES THE “BOOM”
Robert Lowther shutup
Robert Lowther delicious
Clevoras no homo tho right?
He says he never wants to play but if he ever got the chance to lay a huge block for one of his buddies he would never stop playing
My son started tackle football at age 8. He loved it! Of course he was a big boy and a defensive tackle. :)
There were some CFL Highlights in there as well!
(Canadian Football League)
This dude look like he could be Finn Balor's older bigger brother
Johnny Miller FACTS
I was about to say that!!!🤣
BRO 😂
"He bent so many ways that he shouldn't be bendin'. He shouldn't be bendin'!" 🤣🤣
Omg “Is this NFL for midgets or kids?” !!!!😂😂😂 had me laughing so hard
You should watch Jack Tatum highlights. His nickname was The Assasin. That guy was an evil SOB
Hey there ADAM,
These men knock the snot out of each other. And now for the real shocker... Today's NFL is not as rough as it used to be. True, hard to believe, but true!!!!
You need to watch Berry Sanders best jukes. Greatest running back in NFL history
Berry Sanders was the SHIT!!! That guy was just amazing.
Barry sanders... Not berry sanders lol
This has to be a joke right. Berry...
BARRY
@@00tree Barry Sanders was a pussy who quit when he thought his fellow teammates weren't good enough for his services. For a truly gutsy runner, try Billy Sims!
Awww man you haven't seen anything yet you should watch nhl's bloodiest fights
🚫🧢
Anyone from anywhere but the U.S.: Why do they wear pads?
Americans: shows them this
Them....oh it's so they don't fecking die!!
I think 245 pounds of force is enough to wear padding. Do you know that's the average weight of the players? 245 pounds...
Because American Gridiron Football(especially the NFL National Football League)is a physical contact sport and padding is there to protect them
Love the reactions.
Luv you doc! xo..
You should react to the best plays not just the biggest hits
Who’s gonna tell him that 7 y/o makes hits kinda similar to this, also middle school😂
As a Giants fan I must recommend you watch a Saquon Barkley video. He was a rookie last year and has insane touchdowns.
As always though, love the reactions.
From here come the boom, yes it is named that
Try watching footage of the 85 Bears defense. Still known as the unstoppables. Including the hit they put on the Lions qb that knocked him out cold.
Or the Cardinals in the 70s. I believe that's where the Bears developed the defense from.
Go blue bitch and fuck ohio and michigan state i also like the irish
Screw da bears!
Adam this is my yearly watch of this vid and your reactions still have me lmao have a good day my guy.
Fam, a legit strategy in the sport is to shut a troublesome player down hard enough that they need to be checked out. Then they aren't in the game for awhile.
Trying to put him on the stretcher. It's the goal. I worked there. Insane.
We Indians are not very used to this sports. But hope if we develop any kind of interest in coming future.
It's a lot more physical than cricket
@William Leonard thanks bro. But with all due respect, cricket is also a complex game
@@ericnortan9012 ya surely its more physical than cricket
@@afzalwaheedkhan3368 I know, it's a great game, baseballish. That's just the only sport I know they play in India. Don't some of the world's top players come from there?
@William Leonard Rugby is a lot more Mobile vastly more happening on the field at any time. NFL is stop start, Since it evolved from old Rugby in the 1880's it has become less mobile and more static, more like Muscle Chess
when I was here it was at 221 views, im just saying, so the 50mil person can know
This sport is not as rough as it was in years past. Love it.......
You still haven't seen Spencer Lanning get drop kicked by Antonio Brown. It happened a few years ago when the Steelers played the Browns..... That was insane.
That still haunts me to this day
@@nickbutter1913 me too. Life long Browns fan and that one play has summed up pretty much every season.

Just called football and watch Alabama crimson tides hardest hits
Adam Couser you know this is just 1% of all the things that happens in the nfl this is so rare
Adam Couser the longest yard to answer your challenge btw
The song is from the longest Yard.
Adam Couser kids as young as 7-8 years old can play Pe-We football against kids their own age. Also the video was a mix of college football, NFL, and a few highschool
The shake in the beginning makes the hits so much better
You should watch dirtiest nfl tackles. I dont think any of the tackles are legal though. And it will be a good learning experience for you.
Most were actually legal though xD. Especially the older ones as there were barely any saftey rules
And, NFL owners want to expand season by 2 extra games. Players not so much.
They want to expand the playoffs and lessen the pre season
@@sirwadsontoast5928 so like a 2 week preseason and maybe a 6 round playoff?
Adam I love, love your excitement and commentary keep up the great work. Ed
Some of those clips are college and high school and nfl
Love the pfp
Those players got fined in the stleres vs Titans
Getting hit like that actually takes out the butterflies and puts your head in the game better
Adam: How is he not dead?
Americans : That was a weak hit
Damn right
"Oh that's a spinecrusher"
Oh that cant be legal"
New plan: soccer fan reacts to wwe.
Thanks for the laugh mate. A ham sammich sounds just about right. Cheers 🍻
Now a days hits like that are so dirty cheap shoots, to a defenseless receiver, which can be ejected from the game or a 15 yard penalty.
@Flakes have you ever played football and got hit like that?
Adam- how is he not dead
He actually got a serious injury that ended his carrier on that play
3:11 Sean Taylor, the late legend with that hit
"What is this?"
It appears to be a three man pile driver.
Correction. 3 man DDT. Either way.... his helmet should have came out of his ass.
