    1. The technology these days is crazy, I have taken, and given some hard hits. The only dangerous part is when people get stupid and where their helmets too loose, that is when you see em flying off.
    2. The hard hits dont actually happen too often, these videos outline one of the worst parts of the sport, and it feels like everyone is taking shots at it for how 'dangerous' it is. Really it's a beautiful sport and even the worst parts are pretty great.
    3. When you have been there, running over people, getting run over, you enjoy these hard hits a lot more.
Lastly, yes I know I said three, great video.

6:13 This is what we call Peewee Football. Most of these clips aren't actually from the National Football League (NFL). There are a lot of College Football clips, a few High School ones, and this 1 from Peewee.
The NFL players are the professionals (NFL; 21+), all the rest are students either in college (NCAA; 18-23), high school (Varsity & Jr. Varsity; 14-18) , middle school (C-Team; 11-14), or elementary school (Peewee; _-10).
FYI: the information in the parentheses indicates the name for teams at each level and the range of player ages (in years).

LOL...I am now 63 yo. But I started playing football at the age of 6. What many don't understand is that the professionals that end up in the NFL also started very young. It's just an American thing. Kick ass, take names and go home! Playing football is like being addicted to a drug. It is incredible. I played through High School and that was my physical limit. I was 5'10" @ 150 lbs going up against full backs that were over 6 feet and 250 lbs. But, truly, I loved every minute!!! This is the epitome of the American Spirit. Think of football as a game of human chess that’s a tad violent, but the coaches move their pieces in place trying to put smart the other side. Most of those hits are legal, can’t do head to head or defenseless receiver. Overall it’s a slow paced game that’s very strategic and clock management. Love watching reactions from over the pond

Love the reactions. If you didn’t know, almost 70% of America’s best athletes play American football at one time. That being said, the amount of kids to college age young men that get hurt so bad they can’t play professionally is not high, but imagine how good the USA would be in soccer, tennis, and other sports if the majority grew up playing that sport. Only the tech put into the pads and the rules alleviate the injuries. Being a former Allstate quarterback from a powerful school in Texas, I can tell you a lot of us that ran 4.4 in the 40 never got a chance to show up in any sport bc of one of these not so common hits. Being a 3 sport starter, I had a soccer and baseball scholarship, until I was injured. With all that being said, American football is the most fun sport to watch by far. There are no regrets, I ended up going to med school, and I never miss a cowboys game.

Then watch the youtube video entitled "Gregg Williams Saints Bounty Audio" to hear a coach instructing his players to INTENTIONALLY hurt players, and to "go for the head". It's freaking SPOOKY! It's that energy which causes head trauma and concussions. Plus it's hard to see on a screen but the difference in size between players is huge.
