Holla!!!! Boo yah!!!! It's about time my home girl Sharon gets recognized and honored for all of the hard work she's done for Y&R in this quarter of a century!!!! Man oh man, I have been watching since 1994 when I was only in the second grade and she's the #1 reason why I have been watching for the last 25 years!!! I love watching Sharon and Nick's wedding back then, she's such a beautiful bride, she looks like a combination of Cinderella and Aurora getting married to their handsome prince. I've watched the infinitely sweet, lovely, and heartfelt years with her beloved Cassie and sobbed through the horrible and painful grief she and Nick went through when they lost Cassie in 05. Shick, Cassie, and Noah; those tender and sweet years when it was just them are my favorite years of Y&R. All the Emmys she has won--she infinitely deserves all of them and more too!!!! If I had to be anyone in Y&R, infinitely and definitely of course my #1 choice is always and forever Sharon!!!! She has always been the heart and soul of this show for me!!!! You go girl!!!! Congratulations on a beautiful 25 years!!!!
I started watching these two when I was 16. Their characters came to play the same time I started watching. Seems like I literally grew up with them. Now I'm 46 and still watching 🥰
That scene at the beginning... damn I want _that_ Sharon back. She told Victoria off! I truly loved this tribute. The writers ruined her character after Phick. And she could've quit working whenever they decided to trash her with Victor, Adam or Fairview, but she still chose to stay because of her love & dedication to her job. I can't believe people say that Sharon has worn her hair the same way since she debuted on the show & that is _sooo_ off base. One can see that she's had plenty of looks over the years. That argument is odd. EDIT: Victoria & Nikki, along with Victor have treated my baby like shit at the bottom of their shoes, but are oh so nice to her when needed. Sickening. Yet, she's not a Newman? This was beautiful! 😍❤️

Also, I'm happy that you still enjoy Sharon Newman after all of the dark stories she had in the last decade. I give Sharon Case the merit for her ability to redeem Sharon. She always accepts challenges and controversial storylines and the results are amazing. Some of the writing regimes helped with the redeeming process of Sharon to some extent. (( I can see plenty future stories for Sharon, but one of the most demanded ones has to be the one about who is SHARON'S FATHER. After all, his absence affected her and this story never got to be told. It's time. )) And of course, loyal fans like you, who know this show's history & storylines. These 7 minutes of SC & SN were pure gold. P.S. Enjoyed Madonna's song as well, this remix is nice. It's a great pick for Sharon. Just like the ''Lady in Red'' one for Nikki, ''Queen of the Night'' for Drucilla and ''You Look so Fine'' for Tricia. ''Womanizer'' is one of the few Britney Spears songs I enjoy and it was definitely fitting for Nick. Beautiful songs and good taste.

Y&R was pretty good from the mid 80s up until the mid to late 90s, at which point it became a rehash of a rehash of a rehash. It was close to its peak here in the early To mid 90s. The Lauren/Sheila baby switch, Nikki’s addictions, the Victor/Nikki/Jack/Ashley quadrangle. Too bad there hasn’t been a decent soap on in the 2000s.

Loved Sharon since the beginning. Just wish they would do something with her hair. She used to always have beautiful hair. Now she looks like a scullery maid all the time. She needs her soft curls back.
They've given Melody Thomas Scott, Kristoff St. John (God rest his beautiful soul) & they'd just given Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) a tribute episode a few weeks ago, (Don't get me wrong, I ❤ Peter/Jack), yet I saw zilch for _neither_ Joshua or Sharon. They were snubbed, but I guess Shick would have to be reunited in order to do that, which is a crying shame. They have 25 years of history, dammit! They could've been honored.
