As someone who knows how to play on pc, it is painful to be able to do nothing on the controller while my teammates are running around like headless chickens

my g most console players are clueless noobs to fps shooters like csgo especially with val they have to learn the abilites apart from learning to do basic things like strafe etc. i 100% expected them to be this bad its only natural for them, wait at least a month before sweats start filling up every lobby just like when fornite first starting getting into the buliding meta ill be the same shit happening smh just enjoy the game rn while the game is noob state before the sweatfest begins

honestly i hope we can get bot matches on PC, I have friends who are completely new to PC not just games like val/cs and that seems like a great feature for them to get their bearings
it's just the one single bot match. far as i can tell there is no way to do another rn, no idea if they'll add it on full release or not

The game has sbmm though. I'm not that good and I often get put into matches where the enemy team could pass off as bots lol. Well team death match does I don't know about the other modes.

I know that for a fact cause one time I had an outlier match where I actually did good and went 24 and 7 or something like that, the very next match it threw me in with really good players I couldn't keep up with at all.
At first it doesn't feel good to play but like an hour later and messing around with some settings it was beginning to feel more natural, I dropped a 46 kill game and I've gotten 2 aces so far, now I know alot of people are brand new and have probably never played this kind of fps before and as someone who plays on pc I have an advantage in terms of game knowledge, but the game is honestly alot of fun, and I have gone against people who are one tapping, I'm really excited to grind comp on console especially considering none of my friends have a PC. Overall I think Riot have done a really good job of porting this game to console

@@hyyinvery true, (as an Indian), me and many of my friends are excited for valorant mobile. Even though all of us have computers, we still like mobile games. And many here who have a really shitty laptop/no laptop at all would be looking forward to it as well.

I found a guide for settings for console and turning walking off for focus mode was important, and something I thought was complete opposite of what they have as default...turn default sens low, and turn focus sens to high so basic gameplay is low and you only focus when you need to flick.
Interesting idea imma ss this and try it out tmmr thanks for the recommendation
Why not look around fast and use focus for micro adjustments???
@@SPdanig Most of Valorant is micro adjustments. the only flicks are when you are caught off guard, have to turn a flash, or have to quickly preaim.
You can ADS and Focus together. Prioritize focuz, and then when using focus mode, use L3 (press down left joystick) and you should ads. Hope this helps

I’ve never had a pc for gaming but I’ve loved watching Valorant esports since the beginning. IVE LOVED PLAYING THIS GAME ON PS5.

not only did they make an awesome port, and improve the user experience from the pc version, but they also set a new standard for ports of pc shooter games, fixed the aim assist issue, AND they listened to the community and didn't add any crossplay (altough i would be mad seeing some crossplay for swifts for exemple). This and the fact that we now know they're finally working on a replay system to the game makes me hope that this means they're gonna bring some of the changes they made for the console version to the pc version, and that we'll see them listening closer to the community as a whole in the near future

There used to be a video in the Valorant files last year that I saw while playing around the game files. It looked like a cutscene and it had Phoenix riding some sort of plane or helicopter. The vehicle in question seemed to have also appeared out-of-bounds in The Range. I guess all of that was for the new tutorial which we now see on the console Valo.
If you haven’t figured out yet, if you focus and then R3 it goes into ADS
The spray control was also introduced on pc range 😅
I bet it will have a replay system in the next patch
I’m genuinely surprised how a good job riot did with this console port it’s one of maybe the best only gripe is I feel like having a heart attack after looking at the cosmetic pricing but the game has been fun I’ve had some fun

i need to agree with u i played valorant with my friend on pc but when i get into console again valo never felt so fun like hit 3 kill when ur alone its amazing u are just like learning from scartch its so great.

So I don't have a console but I do have a controller I use on my PC for some games. Is valo console gonna be able to be played on PC with a controller or not? Cos it would be cool to have a fresh feel of the game and put my feet up while playing it for a change, even just to try it when it fully releases. But I don't plan on getting a console anytime soon so
They've reported there won't be any crossplay so that more than likely means you won't be able to use a controller in a PC lobby. They don't have to make the games the same and they can stay completely separate from one another. That alleviates many people's concerns about aim assist and having a controller alloting greater advantage. Many, MANY do NOT want this so unfortunately, I don't see you kicking your feet up anytime soon. No for valo at least😭

Valorant on console was my nightmare but it actually looks fun.. like it looks like a toy graphics wise because obviously they wont put pc graphics on it so it's understandable that it's basically a completely different game and not just PC version on lower graphics as some games appear, it looks truly professional and riot-made.

They gonna care about valorant on pc on when everyone leaves that's it. Currently every patch or updates brings bugs, high pings they solve it and again a new update and same. Most of the time the game feels stale unlike previously when we had so many agent updates regularly, there was a proper system of releasing agents every act and maps every episode. Now, it's just random, release an agent whenever, map whenever (Abyss is released even though the episode hasn't ended). It's just a mess. And on top the game feels like RNG is at it's peak right now with lower elo players being pushed into higher lobbies where they do the obvious things people in low elo do.
I'd really wish Valorant have more modes just like League.
Like Star Guardian or Odyssey being able to shoot many enemies or boss enemy raid something like that

If you have "Prioritise ADS" on, it should use the normal ADS that PC has. You can only switch between ADS and Focus when aiming with your weapon (I believe by default you press the right stick while aiming), but if you have Prioritise ADS on then it would automatically go back to ADS next time to aim again
1) How do you buy weapons for others on console?
2)This game is crossplay by default so both versions on pc amd console should be the same at full launch. Console is in open beta
I'm coping that PC will have the features ported from Mobile and Console, this game would benefit from the unconditional love that Indie games get from their devs, hoping for that
I think its super cool and interesting how val is coming to console, as someone who plays mainly cs and played a bit of val its crazy having that opened up for all my console friends and being a pc main and not being able to play cs with them I can say for sure im going to play a hell of a lot of val on console as an awesome alternative for playing cs with my console homies.

Have played val console for around 10 hours now. And this game is nothing like the pc. Been playing pc val since beta, and console val is so heavily favoured and influenced by aim assist during gun fights. Almost every gun fight is 50/50 even when you’ve got the advantage angle wise. Which is not at all what valorant is about, in higher ranks on pc you don’t loose gunfights because of luck it’s all aim skill, whereas on console high levels of aim skill does not favour you at all, the aim assist makes it so 50/50, it’s almost as if it’s a whole new game.

Accuracy is actively being forced to 0% when doing any kind of maneuvering which means no tactical movement or real avenue for outplaying someone with a combination of movement and accuracy and again just over reliance on “I saw you first” situations which just don’t feel logical cuz other times you will turn corners and get instantly killed with one bullet from and smg or fake ak-47 from across the map.
I’ve been researching for the last 24 hrs and ppl are stating that this game is plagued with xim abusers and other forms of cheaters . Which would explain some of the unrealistic accuracy I’ve been experiencing. And I’m not just a casual or some fake hardcore casual either lol I’m an above average player at the very least in terms of playing shooters competitively . Most games I turn off aim assist etc .
It just feels extremely stiff on console imo. If you take gun fire it’s like you are walking in quick sand and you will never turn and shoot the guy before you are finished off. And another weird thing is you’ll be in 2 v 1 or 3 v 2 situations and somehow put in more work on both enemies than the 2 team mates beside you combined! Idk lol I just don’t know. And I was actually really excited to play this . Especially with the wonky hit detection of Xdefiant. I was truly hoping this would rinse some of that taste out of my mouth but instead it’s like someone just put banana cream pudding all over my shit sandwich and I really don’t like banana cream pudding. I personally like when I can react to gunfire in a game more than just drop shotting or bunny hopping . And it’s made worse when they have stopping power on hit . I need tactical maneuvering or an overshield system should be added or something.

I like how the reveal of this port has basically shown me how unable Val players are at accepting change. It's like the veey thought of console becoming apart of valorant is like a disease to PC players.
The fact that even mobile val is better than PC one is very disappointing, u being able to buy the whole bundle as the shop's change daily is what kills it for me, besides the Switching side's screen and MVP endgame screen which is also very good looking

Im hoping they rework the money system in this game for not only console cus they have too but for PC as well. Hopefully they add a store where you can buy any skin you want from past bundles, but itll be full price, the random store is dumb. The new bundles that release should be more discounted, then when the 2 weeks is up its more expensive bc you missed out. Also they should rework or just remove upgrading skins. Because the console players needing to upgrade all the skins they buy will be ruthless.

I grew up on controller. In fact even on my pc, I rly only play a few games m&k valorant being on of my favorite games but I felt so held back from m&k I love the beta and probably will only play console from now on

Dude console valorant is actually goated. I’m having so much fun, plus there’s no “aim assist” it’s actually a bit of a learning curve. They did an amazing job with “focus” mode. Also the whole experience is smooth

Great Video! But I'd like to say that there is a ton of aim assist and it is very strong. It practically stops your curser right on their heads. So, flicking is very easy and the AA removes the wow factor for me, since it happens all the time. Im sure it will be toned down. The best way to see how strong it is, is to go to the practice area and flick on the bots in the range. Then go outside to the target wall and try to flick on the static bot next to it. Its very hard to land a head shot. Great video, i am really loving the console version as well.
Was thinking about trying this out on my Ps5 but I’m used to playing at 244 frames and watching this hurts my eyes 😭

I play claw on controller and putting base and focus aim on max is amazing cause im a high sense gamer and i hit crazy flicks and switch the gun to left side of the screen is clean too best settings for me personally

Tbh I have played a little on PC but was never good at M&K. I main on a controller on Console.. I do not like Val on Console because of all the PC players that come over to the console and that have knowledge on the game and how characters work.. Another is the Weapons I do not like that you have to stand still in order to get a 50/50 hit marker when you shoot someone, you should not be able to miss shots when cross-hairs are directly on the person shooting at, I feel I get punished for aim because I move just a tiny bit and the hit marker misses. I deleted COD for this because I was looking for a better game to play because of the competitive aspect to it and just wish they could fix the hit marker aspect to it for console where I don't feel like I am being punished for aiming at people. You have some people crouch spamming and hitting all there shots but when I try to recreate it while not moving at I am lose maybe 2/5 of my fights. I think the aiming & hit detection can be improved 1,000% better then how it is now. I do have fun on the game but I am super competitive person and love the thrill of it but it needs some MAYJOR fixes in areas I think can work best
Just a question, if they have working bots ready, why can't we use them in custom games? You know, to actually practice on a semi-realistic environment? Just some food for thought. I hope all these features come to PC with Episode 9 Act I (which is just around the corner btw).
Now they just need to optimize the pc version to make it smother and better.

The only bad thing about console is the gun pull out speed and I think it would be cool if they did input based matchmaking so console players could use keyboard and go against other console keyboard players
