I really like this method of teaching, i'm sick of skipping through videos of people very slowly telling you each part of a song at whatever pace they think works. This is much better!

Pretty sure the tab for the heavy part starting at 1:15 is slightly wrong... at the end of the riff it goes 20-42-53 and then one of the two higher powerchords, not 20-53-42 as it is in the video. If you watch a video of Metallica playing it live you can see them play it that way. Hopefully that makes sense the way I wrote it

@BeastOfOlympus That's right he Metallica does play it in Eb live; but the album version is in E! So, both are right!
It`s in standard E 445 Hz, that`s why the guitars can sound slightly off.

Part that starts from 1.18 is hard to play . in my attempts there is a noise while shifting finger positions from one to other.can you please tell me a solution. Must we mute before change positions

For that beginning solo, would you alternate picking, or just use a downstroke?
Great vid. Simple clean easy to follow. My only thought was in main riff section instead of open E why not power chord that with 0-2? Gives a little chunkier sound esp with palm muting.
mainly because its a bit more difficult to move across the fretboard when having to go back to the e power chord after each other power chord, but it does sound better when you do it so feel free to use the power chord

true but not, hes playing a Kirk Hammett signature guitar so thats why he has them, you can find those inlays on eBay for $19.99, but they dont fit all guitars.

Thanks for the video, first of all. Thanks for sharing. I have a question about 12 9 11 12 9 11 part. I would like to ask you about the technique. I've forgotten the P.M., but still, I can listen a bit when I release with the pinky finger the 12th fret note on the 4th string (D). Any tip on how can I avoid that and/or improve it? Thanks a lot.
