feel free too try a 2s lipo in it that should give it a bit more torque & speed as a worthwhile upgrade.

Would you recommend this to someone that has the 12428 and is looking for something new in the same size and budget price range
Lots of companies don't put lights on bashers, not to save money cus lights are cheap, but because if u bash, flip, jump the rc most of the time the lights blow out or wires break from the force of jumping/bashing it.
Watch out for the "do a couple upgrades" trap. I've been upgrading my WLTOYS a959b for a couple months, I only have a couple original parts left on it. Carbon fiber and aluminum, as well as all new Flysky, hobby wing and trinity electronics. I'm afraid to add up the total. :)
Sometimes it's just best to purchase a better model than up grade 🤦
Thumbs up guys! Happy to see yours is working well! Most other reviews were good for it too. I can now chalk mine up as a dud. The little spring that holds the rod that holds the dogbone together kept popping off mine after running it! 🤣😂🤣😂

It's a great little jeep. Not much for bashing. Motor will not handle 3S.
Just installed 3S brushless motor and ESC for fun. With my GT-2 Turnigy TX. this should make it a interesting challenge for my build and drive skill. I usually run DHK models (thanks to RC sailers) got any tips on a good RC nitro boat ?

Nice video but as for my interest in the truck... no thanks. You guys started me into the hobby several years ago by recommending a WL Toys buggy for around $70.00. Now with two hobby grade MTs (Arrma Granite Mega (which I've upgraded to brushless) and BLX) under my belt there's looking back. But thanks for getting me into the hobby in the first place.

It seems okay for 80$ . It definitely would need some mods to get it up to a quality grade RC . BUT!!!! It would make a great gift RC to a kid under 7/8 years of age. Mainly to see if they have good eye and hand coordination. As well to see if they like the hobby. I have a UTube channel and it is about RC’s . But last week I went to a RC plane show and my viewers and video views went up some. So I been thinking on trying so low grade or medium grade drones just to see if it was the actual planes or if it is just controlling something in the air

@@TheRcSaylors thanks ,i already took it apart to Grease it and was amazed that the différentiel and pignion is all métal in There ,bearings on the wheels and métal cup ! Pretty Nice unit for the Price if you compare what you get a Walmart for the same amount!!

Would be great if you could take the body off and show the chassis a bit, don't have to spend a lot of time on it but with all the gushing about it I really wanted to see inside it. Most of the time with the "cheaper" RC's the store pages don't really show off the gear inside of it...this was no different :(

I love that you say Traxxas now and you say they’re not a good company what would happen if you put Traxxas in the title and you didn’t have a Traxxas car in the video by the way this looks like a cool little truck I think it’s a good speed for what it is especially if you took it to a track at your local hobby shop
After talking to a few lawyers that arent on the Traxxas payroll, we realize they cant attack us for freedom of speech. Would be a Very different story if they ever try that again.

They don't have lights on every rc, not because its costs to much extra, but because lights really don't hold up on bashers. Either they blow out, come out or break from all the abuse of bashing n jumping them

They don't put lights on because conservative buyers sees that as a gimmic for toys.
And you guys need to get some rubber boots, you're always stepping in mud or water when you're out in nature.
