- Ramada Hotel Solihull housing migrants for the Home Office. British Tax payer is paying for this.
We talk to some very nice residents here who gave an insight on life and the time scale it's taking.
SECURITY are not happy and they tell the residents we are rac.... to Tey to make them turn against us.

I was 15 years as a security alarm response officer these security guys real need to be trained in what they can and cannot do and say . I seriously believe they have been fast tracked in to do this job , without any real training .

I came here age 14 and went school morning and worked at night to keep a roof over my head , worked in factories and as a door man sometimes till 4 in the morning

Worked all my life so does my all members if my family, all have degrees all pay tax and to see my yaxes wasted on this is frustrating. Agreed from another English Muslim on all counts. Worked since I was 16, so has my family. I'm not sure why we're supposed to pay for this when our own homeless seemingly can't even be helped without donations.. if they want to stay, they need to start from the ground up, be willing to get educated in a profession and have a open mind like the curly afghani, not sit in hotels for years while the taxpayer suffers.

I used to live in Solihull not far from this hotel - it used to be gorgeous! I went to a few functions - lovely gardens and a beautiful restaurant. Its a real pity that the people of Solihull have lost this amenity! My children used to attend the infant school opposite which is called St Alphege and we used to go to the adjacent ST Alphege Church so I know the area really well. Despite the rooms looking a bit messy at least those staying there seem nice (apart from security of course!) Not that it makes it right - I was shocked by the expensive trainers and laptop in one room - and all the bikes at our expense!!! So wrong!

When you read these comments you will hopefully understand that people resent how the Conservative government and Home Office are dealing with this situation. I'm sure that the majority of the asylum seekers are here for good reason but there are always bad apples that spoil it for the worthy ones. So any hostility comes from not knowing why asylum seekers are in Britain.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night it was a nice room, wouldn’t stay again when it opens back up to the public.
