- Oingo Boingo performing "Change" in a Brazilian TV show, 1994.
Don't know if it's already up here, haven't found it.
Quality sucks a bit..but I love this song and at least something new (?) on YT
Anyway - enjoy :P
only video I could find of this song with a comment section. Susan's on some dank shit to think removing musical comment sections was a good idea. I fucking love this song. the line "if I could change the future, I'd change the past instead" gave me the BIG seretonin release, and I sing that lyric whenever it comes.
Unbelievable
Yeah, it definetely was up here not long ago but I know people have been looking for it since it was taken down. It's funny how Danny looks completely identical in all three of the talk show appearances that he did in 1994!
this brazilian talk show was shot in USA just during World Cup
i had absolutely zero idea that Jô Soares interviewed Danny elfman! incredibly perfomance, wish i could see the full interview, amazing anyway
Haven't seen this particular video. Thanks for posting!
I love how wild Danny Elfmans hair looks here. His hippie roots are showing and it's red hot✌️🌝🕊️!
Does anyone have the full interview of this video? Oh man....I love Boingo!! Brazilian fan here haha
Mah favey Boingo sawng.
sensacional ..
yo Avila looks cool :o
also for a minute I though Bartek was missing-
He's an Elf... Man!
OINGO BOINGO ACA EN LATINOAMERICA?????? QUEEEEE
@widehdvideos meio estranho... eu acho que o Jo nao tentou dar uma de esperto com o elfman... se tentou deve ter sido engraçado.
I have to laugh at the skater look on the 40 year-old men!
I think Danny was going through a middle age crisis at the time. I wish Steve could have sat with him... "Danny, we need to talk. Those clothes man..." By the way, I can't stand Warren Fitzgerald. How I wish they hadn't recruited him.
What's wrong with Warren?
Yeah this is totally a midlife crisis for a man who spent his late 20s and 30s dressed in slutty little tank tops and being the frontman in a rock band who was known for bouncing around like an autistic little boy on crack. This was when he was beginning to dress his age and settle down in the more grown up career of film composing.
@Captain Brandon Horror Lover Yeah and I'm kinda pissed off that that's the only real live performance of the group, their final performance, no less. "Controller" was such an amazing song performed during the 80's and then they decided to "punk it up" and remove the brass section! (SACRILEGE). I guess he was just trying to fit into the grunge movement of the time, but it just doesn't fit the group. And THANK YOU for agreeing with me that Fitzgerald was a total gum smacking douchebag.
@@danelf ok but combine the third guitar with the horn section (seen in farewell) and its amazing
I’d say right now in his late 60s he’s finally having a midlife crisis (Oingo Boingo was his decade and a half long quarter-life crisis). Which means he’s going to live to a ripe old age...
Too bad the record's version wasn't this length.
+Mark Trinko Are you kidding? the record version is brilliant. I love all 15 minutes of it.
Good representation of an overrated 80s band
