Thanks Terry, Madison and Erika. So glad the season is underway and always enjoy the women’s coverage. I don’t mind the golf courses but much prefer the latter part of the season with more woods. I love seeing the different lines and creativity from scrambles.
I love watching coverage on golf courses because the players get a chance to really unleash their power and we get to see the full flight of all their discs. I also enjoy playing on them for the same reasons.

Great commentary ladies. Great golf too. I've never had the pleasure of playing on a golf course but I imagine it'd be a ton of fun. Definitely fun to watch. Less obstructions blocking shots from the camera. Keep up the great work Terry!
Very nice commentary from Madison and Erika. I will be playing my first round on a local ball golf course a week from Saturday in a doubles tournament. I prefer either woods golf or a course with some trees in it. I don't mind a combination of a golf-style course and a tree laden course because it tests all facets of the game.

Definitely love any FPO coverage! Thanks disc golf guy! Ball golf courses are nice to watch pros play on but I definitely prefer the "classic" disc golf wooded courses. Golf carts are fun though 😜
I think the advantage of the golf courses is that you can see more of the shots and they allow for a bigger gallery. It is nice to see the difference in shot shapes and to get that full flex line vs the hyzer flips or short shots from wooded courses. Great to have this coverage available. Once again, superb coverage. Thanks discgolfguy. And thanks to the FPO for all the inspiring throws. Playing on a golf course is always a treat, especially pitch and putt, or par 3's. No love for golf carts, so the longer courses don't appeal.
Thanks for the coverage Terry! I've never played a golf course style disc golf layout, but have lived vicariously through awesome videos like this one. It looks really fun and lends to a more wide open style where you can really let loose at times. Keep it up and keep having fun out there!
I love playing on them and I love watching people play on them. It's just a different kind of golf from the woods. I think big tournaments on golf courses is great for the sport. You can fit huge galleries, it lends it self to some pretty epic video coverage, and as much as I love watching someone carve a tight line in the trees it is truly impressive to watch big arms chew up distance. It's a great avenue to draw in new fans.
Great coverage and commentary! Very well done, even our 1 year old was watching! I have never played a round of disc golf on a converted Golf course, but have always wanted to. As far as video coverage, I think a golf course lends itself to better video coverage than a typical wooded course. It's harder to appreciate the gaps that professionals hit on the tightly wooded courses from watching TV coverage.
The thing I like most about playing on golf courses is that rollers go forever! Great seeing the ladies back in action for the year, thanks as always to Terry!
I got to play this course twice on vacation and it was a surreal experience. The shot shapes, the more relaxed playstyle, playing the skip and the people were all next level. If all ball golf courses are like Wildhorse, then I'm a fan.

Nice to see what happens in Vegas...can be seen by all, thanks to Terry! I have never played on a ball golf course. It looks like it could be fun and I could imaging emptying my bag throwing rollers. It would be hell on a windy day, tho. I think I prefer watching woods golf. I love the flight of a perfectly shaped shot through trees and even enjoy the wince that follows the sound of plastic hitting bark. Great card and great coverage!
I love watching Disc Golf coverage period whether its on a ball golf course or otherwise. I do enjoy the creativity of the course design on a ball golf course. It is a totally different environment compared to its counterpart. It also has its own unique challenges. For the past few years I have watched MPO coverage exclusively and this year I will be watching bot MPO and FPO coverage. Your commentary is great!
You girls are killing out here love watching disc golf and as for playing disc golf on golf courses I love it I grew up playing disc golf on a old golf course I think it’s so much fun especially with sand bunkers and playing greens as ob to add some difficulty to it very challenging and fun!
Appreciate the FPO coverage. I haven't had a chance to play on golf course grass, but having taken my fair share of spills in wet leaves and mud, i could see how those little rocks could be troublesome
I’ve never thrown on a golf course. But, the course that the ladies played today actually looked really fun. There were plenty of gaps and obstacles to throw around. I would much rather watch a course like this, than a course like the Utah golf course that was played on tour. Keep up the good work TerBear.
yes i wonder if anyone relevant to making changes would read this but that Utah course is soo shitty to watch... i suppose there should be specialized events that really lean one way so all good but honestly I watch to see Joe and JC but almostr can't get thru the footage of that event... sooo dull when you know what this game can be like.

Moraine is my favorite course to watch PRO’s play on with natural OB. Today front 9 was on of the better ball golf courses. I think the success of this course is the OB is clearly defined visually. Great commentary Madison and Erika! I enjoy playing on golf courses because they offer a completely different playing experience from the park setting I normally play in. Only issue is that it can be difficult sharing the course simultaneously with ball golfers and of course the golf course isn't free to play on. Watching tournaments on a golf course or wooded is equally enjoyable for me.
I like the versatility of playing on a golf course. Makes changing up the OB lines and adding hazards. Watching coverage is great because they are pretty open and easy to see whats happening.

I love watching coverage on golf courses personally. Paige Pierces dominate win at Sunset Hills last year over Catrina Allen for her 5th World Championship, Catrina Allen’s win last year at Emporia country club over Paige Pierce, and Paige Shue’s win in Las Vegas last year over Catrina Allen were all dramatic coverage and beautiful to watch. Wooded golf can be nice but must be complemented by ball golf or park golf courses like these.

It's fun for the winter but I prefer the woods and prairie courses the rest of the year. As a recreational player, part of the fun of disc golf is enjoying the beautiful landscapes and biodiversity on the courses....don't really get that on a golf course, unless you count geese!

I live near Lake Chabot, a ball/disc golf course near Oakland, Ca where the New Years Classic was just played/filmed. It’s incredible to play there! And I think the course layout adds excitement to the recording as well, since the camera person can get numerous unique shots. Good luck this season to all of you!!

I think golf courses are really well maintained and manicured. There usually is not too much rough terrain when walking hole to hole, so I believe it could keep the legs from getting less fatigued. Especially if the course lets you use golf carts to get around. Keep up the great job Terry and great commentary from Erika and Madison!
Heard your comment regarding wind and flag position blowing sideways etc. In aviation the windsock at an airport is horizontal (with the ground) during 15 knot winds. You can gauge different wind speeds based on its objective position based on its shape etc.

I love it playing on golf courses. All the OB and hazards make it extra challenging. Favorite tournament like that was the LEO Land of Enchantment Open in Santa Fe.
Great coverage Terry. The only thing I noticed that was a little wonky was that the drone footage was squeezed into the frame so it didn't look right. All the baskets look like marksmen baskets.

Ball golf courses can be great. It must be pretty amazing to experience a huge event like this, where you have 551 people, from juniors to pros, playing disc golf at the same place. I wish I was there. Can't wait to here about it on Smashboxxx.
