My favorite restaurant at Disney Springs is the Boathouse. I’m going to have to write down what you ordered at Toledos. I stayed there several days with my son when he was looking for a job as he was using up his military leave so we got a military discount. That restaurant wasn’t built yet but everyone seems to love it. Love your food reviews.
Thanks so much, Leslie. Toledo's menu is a strong one. Over the course of the last 4 years, we've tried the majority of the dishes, and have loved them. The Spaniard app (charcuterie), filet entree, the Crema Catalana (dessert) and Cafe Bombon (life-giving coffee) are my favs. ❤
I've always wanted to check this place out! My Uncle's dined here before and he loved it! Good to know that some items can be hit or miss but I'm still so intrigued by everything there is to check out!
Hi Deni! Great review as always. We appreciate your honesty! Question for you: we just booked a resy at Boathouse for the very first time this summer, but we're going for BRUNCH. Were they offering it when you went? (I THINK you said Sunday at lunch)? And, have you ever had brunch here? If so, what are your thoughts on it?
Thanks so much, Sarah! They actually were serving brunch, but we didn't realize it until some of us saw what our neighbors were eating. We weren't given a brunch menu, so be sure to ask for one if you don't receive one. :)
Deni, thank you so much for another great review. Really appreciate the fact that they were able to change the table to accommodate your hearing impaired family member. My daughter is hearing impaired and it is a constant factor in where we eat or how we are going to be able to communicate when we go out! Thanks again from Canada! Happy Canada Day to us and Happy 4th of July to you!!!
Thank you so much for watching, Susan! We're in the same boat (ha ha)...it's super important to think through the volume level of a restaurant so that everyone can be a part of the conversation. ❤
Never been there but I have ridden the car/boat thing. We went at night. It was so fun. It’s kind of freaky just driving into the water. I’d be curious how those things work. I always love your reviews. They give me a little piece of my favorite place in the world.
We have been here but tend to stick with the filet sliders and burgers, which are comparably priced to other sit down restaurants. We have had good experiences both times but did not have seafood (I know, no one had seafood at The Boathouse?! 😂) and had meals that I think were $20 or less per person. Now I have to check out Toledo! Thanks for the great review, as always!
We had a just ok experience at Boathouse. I honestly felt like it was a waste of a reservation as a family that only goes to Disney once or twice a year. Much prefer Wine Bar George.
That type of restaurant is quite common in the Northeast. There’s like 10 Boathouses in Newport, RI. Wine Bar I think would be a more unique experience for an American.
The boathouse became a must do for every trip after our first time back in October 2021. I don’t do seafood though, I get the filet mignon sliders every time lol they are so amazing and very reasonably priced. My husband usually gets a sandwich or a smaller fish dish, and we don’t get apps or desserts, so our total is normally no more than $50. Worth a trip for those rolls alone!! We tried wine bar George once and haven’t been back because we actually felt their food was overpriced vs. boathouse lol. To each their own! So many amazing options at Disney springs! 😊
Have never done Boathouse. Our old tradition was to eat at Earl of Sandwich. We finally did Ragland Road back in 2021 and Homecoming back in November 2022.
This is definitely my favorite at Disney Springs, for two simple reasons: One, you can usually get a reservation; it's a very large place, with a lot of tables. Two, the prices are remarkably fair, especially for a restaurant inside the Disney Bubble.
Hi Deni!! Great minds think alike!! I just made a reservation for The Boathouse for my birthday in September!! Our absolute favorite in Disney Springs!! Thanks always for your wonderful review!!
I am going in May Disney I'm staying at the All-Star movie I want to go to Disney springs and I was thinking about going to The boathouse I'm going solo I saw a lot of good reviews I was thinking about doing the lobster or the chicken I'm by myself so I might not be as bad but I'm not sure if I'm going to go in March I have to make my
Thanks for the honest review. We've been to the Boathouse several times and enjoyed it, but it's not a must do. I have to agree with your overall assessment - it's overpriced. Our service has always been stellar there and we love the overall vibe, but the food doesn't always live up to the cost. It's always good, sometimes great, but not consistently so (in our experience). Like you, I find myself comparing it to other less expensive restaurants. Even just at DS, I'd rather go to Homecomin' or Raglan Road for less money and just as good (Raglan Road) or better (Homecomin') food.
I didn’t find the prices that expensive to me. They weren’t cheap but everything I get is also far superior to other restaurants for the same things. I think it depends on what you order. I never get desserts, too full, order appetizers or drinks. I prefer water. That key lime dessert will probably be ordered next time or I’ll just get a coffee and order that key lime. The older I get the less I can eat. I get the clam strips and half a wedge salad. Eat those delicious rolls and I’m stuffed. I’ll have to go twice so I can eat that dessert.
I like the Boathouse. It's always been good, but I agree that it's overpriced. I paid $33 for a lobster roll. It would have been expensive at $23. Won't do it again.
Deni…I’m loving your new look! You look amazing! Thanks for sharing 😍
Thank you so, so much! ❤️

oh love the Boathouse I had the salmon it was good fun video thanks as always Deni
I didn’t realize how large this place was until you walked through it. Lol
LOL it's GINORMOUS!
We went in September the chocolate cake and those rolls were the best part.

If I'm there again in the near future, those filet sliders are gonna be on my radar, Jennifer! ❤
@@deni_sunderly they are delicious! Also, $16.50 for the 2 sliders and fries. Much more reasonable!

Hi Deni, another great video. Wishing you a wonderful 4th of July!!! Take care.
Thanks so much, Bob! I hope that your 4th was wonderful!

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I loved my last experience at Raglan Road! Yummmm 💚
The blackened swordfish with the jambalaya was INCREDIBLE! ❤ I’ll always pay more at Boathouse for fresh food than pay less at Toledo for frozen food.

That sounds like the perfect plan, Leslie! ❤
I’m not a seafood person so if I was eating in Disney Springs. I would pick Art Smith Homecoming.
Deni...How did the crab cake compare to the ones at G&M Restaurant in Linthicum Heights, MD?
I like the Boathouse. It's always been good, but I agree that it's overpriced. I paid $33 for a lobster roll. It would have been expensive at $23. Won't do it again.
Looking cute as ever
From the jersey shore we aren't big fans of the Boathouse. Overpriced and food is meh for us. BD way better.
We aren’t Boathouse fans either. What’s BD?
@@jlmarr53 the Brown Derby, my favorite in park restaurant
South Jersey fans of the Crabtrap in Somers Point.
We will try Boathouse but as others have said we have many similar restaurants in our area.
Do t eat here. It's not good. The steak was terrible and my brother in law got food poison.
