Not only is this a good song, but this video has a deep meaning. Life will seem easy at first. There are many resources/lifelines you will find, but you will realize that maybe not all of those can help you with everything you want, or you are met with a challenge that you've never seen before. You accept the challenge, and you won't always win the battle. The demon in the video could also represent your inner demons. As life goes on, you will find that the biggest enemy you face is yourself. The cycle goes on, and on, and on and on and on. You fight your obstacles or inner demons, you fail. You try again, you fail again. You'll feel that all hope is lost, but you must pick yourself up and make sacrifices. You may have to many times, but so what? Eventually, it will all be worth something. That's when you beat your obstacles or inner demons. But don't be phased or think you have won. Obstacles & inner demons will come in many different ways, shapes & forms, and you must not give up, no matter how hard it may be, you're always worth something. It's okay if you don't know at first, but it's not okay to never know. Keep fighting; your greatest treasures are yet to be claimed.

I hope Illenium doesn’t give up on the melodic bass genre. He does it so Amazingly well! Take you down gives me utter chills every single time! And this one is so good too. Idk about others but to me this is the most ILLENIUM song ever made by ILLENIUM 🔥. I feel like this one has almost all of ILLENIUM'S signature sounds since 2016 until now (notably the signature Awake era snares, Fallen Embers style Rock influence and Ashes style songwriting) and truly defines his story in around 4 and a half minutes

I love how the colors blue and fire orange fit into the story. The first time the character fights the demon, the background is blue. The fire flashes on the edges of the screen, but never manifests fully, meaning the first fight with your inner demons fails.
But the second time through, you see the orange and blue meshed together in the background when the fight begins. And after that second fight, you see the character falling again, in a blue background as well as a fire background.
I interpret that as even when you are victorious against your inner demons, there is a price you end up paying (all of the pain and suffering that you endured.) But in the end, you still survived, and are still standing tall against your worst doubts.
I just love this old Illenium sound. Its so so good.
