    Very interesting that knowing Villains range, and especially what they want to do with their range influences your desicion.
    Keep them great videos coming man, very interesting to have breakdowns visualized like that, love to see it.

    It’s the first thing i thinking when i see the survey yesterday: “what happened in the hand before we come into the river?”
    The two hand post like this “you bet or check” with no info on action it’s like the hand our friend tells us about the a few month ago where he asks us what we would have done in his shoes 😂 NO CLUE AT ALL.
    With info btw perfect analysis 2CC,keep going 👍🏻

    what do you mean with 'iso raise' 0:54?

    • @seslocrit9365
      @seslocrit9365 Год назад

      It colloquially stands for isolating the limper. In this case, it's not relevant because he isn't really "isoing". But let's say UTG+1 limps LJ folds, HJ "iso-raises," which means he wants to drive out the other players to play the pot heads-up in position. It's not really relevant here because Linus is last to act in the straddle.

    I think you are missing a HUGE point as well in your analysis which is SPR…
    In A/ a big reason why you wanna check a bit more as well is that getting raised all-in really sucks as deep whereas in B/ it’s less of an issue.
    Still we check in B/ as shown for other reasons though but you really missed a big portion of the answer imo

      As well the runout on B missed more floats in completing straight draws. Another reason to go for value IMO

      Those guys are in another level, as explained in the video Linus has many bluffs and is capable of shoving with those bluffs in a high enough frequency which makes viktor’s call a good call

      @@lastplayer5838 yes that’s true but you would have to think he knows thats what’s going to be going through your mind and it might be a bluff but sometimes it’s better not to find out

    I love the video, but please stop running two hands at once. It's disorienting being thrown several different concepts. IMO, please complete the ideas of 1 hand and then, in the second hand, compare the concepts of the previous hand. Please dont run both hands side by side, as in poker, and you have to split your ranges, making it more complex to keep track of relevant actions.

    • @alexbourgeois4892
      @alexbourgeois4892 Год назад +36

      The idea of the video is based on a comparative point that two spots that are apparently similar can at the same time be completely different and showing the hand at the same time is a rear way to show it and makes a nice video effect at the hand to be fair.
      If you play a bit of poker it shouldn't be that hard to get the idea.

      Hard disagree

    • @seslocrit9365
      @seslocrit9365 Год назад +4

      @@alexbourgeois4892The point is that he can achieve the same thing by splitting the hands. He points out that the action depends on the context in which past actions had the identical rank of the hand. If you can't keep track of the action what is the point? If you are comparing bet - check bet lines where action is the same and putting side by side makes sense but a sequence of actions that are nowhere near comparable, i.e, overbet line vs. check line.
      If you are going to compare to separate sequences, you should split the hands or at minimum, play both sequences of action separately at the beginning of the video.
