If Katara embraced bloodbending and tought Aang how to use it the war would have been over in seconds lol
Litterly but then she banned it which is fine but she could make some exceptions
OH, DEFINITELY! 😂
If Katara was against bloodbending what makes you think Aang, the pacifistic monk, wouldn’t also be against it?😭😭 He would be more opposed to it than she would
Well, in that case why couldn't she tell him how to heal?
@@katelee1098 Make your post grammatically correct so I can understand please.
In the world of fighting whether it be real or animated it's best to know every form of fighting this way it allows victory at every situation always be ready always be prepared
Am I the only one who wants them to get into korra eps as well
Me too
Absolutely
Before I start watching: I'd love the idea that Katara's bloodbending ability gets well-known, so criminals and even gangs just refuse to work on the full moon even up to Korra's era, just in case.
If she was a vigilante, but canon-wise she wouldn't post-war. Maybe if she fought alongside the Blue Spirit ...
Hama's evil witch cackle haunted my dreams for a week after this episode first aired.
My “the puppet master” haiku
Hama and Katara
The witch uses the full moon
Underground screams haunt
They aren't regular rats. Look a little closer. They have the trunk of an Elephant. Elephant Rat. They made another appearance earlier in the ahow.
most valuable bending is Katara stopping Hama, I will not accept any other answer!
You guys need to record over that bit, lol!
The actual reason Katara will never embrace bloodbending is simple: giving the heroes free access to such a power would completely break the show.
Makes sense honestly
Make really sense
While we're leaning in and whispering what we're liking in secret.
_I think Hama is cool_
Me too. I wish she had another episode or her and Katara made up.
I always did consider Katara the scariest member of the Gaang. She is legitimately terrifying in what she can do to a person.
Also, flying foxes are so adorable, so I gotta disagree with Dante.
Bloodbending is pretty twisted
No, Aang isnt the only pacifist in the group. The group as a whole calls it when it comes to killing and sadistic moves. Even Toph at worst, incapacitates her opponents.
Dante is so real for having the Filipino superstition lol that POC instinct for clocking anything that's sus for shoor
Bloodbending is only another tool and should be utilized as such. Ultimately, how someone chooses to use it is more important than the technique itself.
why did i just imagine a scaredycat zuko because of dante in this episode .
I just thought of the music that plays over the epic Zuko-Azula fight and got goosebumps all over. Then Toph's joke brought me right back.
Katara's Bloodbending vs Toph's Snarkbending... which one is more OP? 😂
Katara is low key the scariest person in ATLA
Totally acquiesce
How????
Koh the Face Stealer: What am I?
I think Katara is correct to not use it unless absolutely necessary because that sort of bending is unbelievable and scary to use, You don’t want any evil water-benders finding out about this and using it for themselves because they could be close to unstoppable unless your a master at waterbending because Katara managed to break out of the bloodbend so in short Katara is right to not show this sort of power to anyone I mean look what it did to Hama turned her from a regular water bender into an evil psychotic kidnapper
Basically Yakone,Noatak and Tarrlok...or even the initial concept of Ming Hua.
Bloodbending is goated, but it all depends on how you use it
JOAQUIM DOS SANTOS, i saw your name in one of the episodes (think it was tales of ba sing se). LESS GOO representing portugal
No, no, Dante’s right. If you’re looking at the Crowned Fox (bat)’s wingspan alone, it IS the size of a small man-5 ft, 6 in on average. 😳
From what I’ve reviewed while bloodbending is powerful, that’s exactly its problem. People get addicted to using it and it and it makes them go mad with power.
I've been saying it for years! Yes! At the very least teach Kya! C'mon, Katara..😅
No because Kya could change you don’t realise when people have a power like no other the power might overcome them and then use it for their own evil needs hence why Katara doesn’t want to teach anyone this because the only way it can be stopped is with energy bending and it is extremely risky and rare.
Why? Because the water chakra deals with pleasure, and is blocked by guilt, and when one bloodbends, they feel pleasure without guilt?
Thats already happened with amon and remember what happened to him
That’s because Tarrlock felt guilty about how far he took things for his political agenda, and thought he and Amon would act just like his father if they started a new life
MVB moment, Hippo cow breathing fire.
MVNB moment, Appa and Momo fight.
I have always wondered if Aang had an idea. Did he ever thought if he could take away Katara's bloodbending so that she can keep her regular bending? If he did then Katara wouldn't have to worry about it.
Bloodbending is nothing but bending water in body. You cannot take away blood bending without taking away her bending altogether
bloodbending is waterbending so by doing that he'd take away all of her waterbending which he wouldnt want to do
@@jungshook2235 since you said that I was suspecting if Aang would thought of that. As if they would've continued for more episodes based on comics. Besides my only opinion for Aang is that he could just try to rid Katara's bloodbending.
It is so cool these two just hang out
Two opposite forces that love each other
It’s time for a Horror movie 🩸
Yes. She should hv used it more often in my opinion. Like u can control people to uhh jump in a river or something in self defense so why wouldn't u
Hey… I have a question: If Korra and Asami love each other… What happened next?
They got married in the comic
I think, if I remember correctly
✂️ 😂😂
Sorry 😂
I'm happy that Katara had banned Bloodbending. Because, those with power easily corrupt.
Finally someone who isn’t a bloodbending lover Almost everyone wants Katara to embrace bloodbending, not knowing it will corrupt her.
Katara became corrupted the minute she proposed her law to someone. You know that speaking out against a concept is a great social strategy to convince people around you that you don’t indulge in it. Amon spoke out against bending, and used that to help cover up his nature as a bloodbender. Katara spoke out against bloodbending, and used that to cover up *her* nature as a bloodbender. Just like Amon, she was trying to be the only bloodbender in the world; but unlike Amon, she had Team Avatar to support her in covering up her past.
@@dogmonkey77 You say that, but you also know that speaking out against an idea/concept is a strong persuasive tool to convince others that you don’t like it (whether you’re lying about how you feel or not). Besides, why would Katara cover up her nature as a bloodbender, if she never used that power again after ATLA?
@@dogmonkey77 Nowhere. Although TLoK doesn’t indicate that Katara *didn’t* cover up her bloodbending either, and in spite of bloodbenders being so strongly hated, Katara isn’t hated the same way, and is praised as the best healer in the world/South Pole. Considering the strong hatred for bloodbenders, Katara wouldn’t be held in such high regard if others knew she’s a bloodbender. If Korra or her Team Avatar found out, or if anyone else found out, they’d treat her the same as other bloodbenders, with no regard for the circumstances.
This is my most favourite episode
We have a gravity hill in Michigan I think? I heard of the baby powder thing.
Hello! Could we please bring Mick Foley on for an episode of Avatar: Braving the Elements?
So excited for when this starts❤️
Yes. We finally get to see a premiere:)
Yes! She should have.
So every episode is going to be puppet mastering?
Im watching this episode at 824am...and it STILL has me shook!
One of the BEST episodes in the series! :)
And shoutout to the Filippino stories that scares Dante haha
I don’t necessarily think Aang should have learned to bloodbend others, but I do think it could have been useful to have Katara bloodbend Aang so he can experience it and maybe learn to resist or defend against it?
Could you make an avatar series that relates to the books?
Being an waterbender you are the most restricted compared to all the other benders, because water is not found everywhere you go, so katara should have embraced Bloodbending yes, the only illegal bending type she should have implemented was for fire bending, as punishment for the messed up action of the fire nation, being burned alive is way worse then having your body being controlled by someone else lol.
It's really cool. Please let it be in Uzbek
KoriAlonso you thanks 😂😂❤ 0:00
Dante’s reaction had me laughing so hard I almost peed my pants 😂😂😂😂😂😂

👎 Bad idea.
evil.
Will we ever get a storu that takes place after the fight with the fire lord
Yes there’s comics that take place shortly after, also the legend of korra is technically after the fight, but like 70 years after.
Even in warfare, certain tactics, strategies, and weapons are still taboo and still immoral to use. You don’t directly attack civilians or medics, you don’t use extreme or traumatic torture methods when interrogating enemies, (not a direct comparison) you don’t press the nuclear launch button. The Gaang are in an ideological battle as much as a literal one, they can’t meaningfully win by being as bad or as ruthless and cruel as the fire nation, the show reiterates this many times. Bloodbending is cruel and brutal and traumatic, it’s the darkest form of bending ever depicted, and Kataras legacy would have been permanently tainted if she had embraced and normalized it.
Who else thinks yes?
