I've been to Italy 🇮🇹 once in the past but, sadly, we travelled to Milan, which is an industrial city 🏙️👎, for a clothes fair in "La Fiera". Thankfully, we had a half day excursion to Lugano, Switzerland 🇨🇭, the beauty of which is incomparable. 💯
Lugano, as perfectly kept as it is, is also a very depressing city for some reason. Switzerland has a very high suicide rate compared to Italy. Perhaps all that perfection hides many issues, starting with a general coldness in relationships compared to Italians. It is a pity that you only had to see Milan, as there are many other towns that are just spectacular, even if they might not look like a Hollywood set. Milan was heavily bombed during WW2, whereas Switzerland, of course, was neutral, and busy profiting from the war, but Milan’s history is remarkable, whereas Lugano’s is practically non existent.
Their overall suicide rate is more or less twice as the one of Italy. Given that Italians are certainly less rich per capita, they have a less supporting government (Swiss people have lots of solid benefits), that their the country is in a state of permanent mess, one should wonder why Swiss people are more prone to such a drastic act. Scandinavian countries, which are much more similar to Switzerland than Italy, have the same issues. Religion could be part of it, although Italians are not so religious anymore. It probably boils down to how Italians are very social compared to most countries, or the massive diversity that Italy offers. Every 50 miles you can see different architectures, art, food, people, dialects, etc. The same is not so true for Switzerland, which is quite similar throughout. Perhaps it is a combination of all these factors (and more). Italy has also a slightly lower omicide rate per capita, and considering the amount of criminal organizations (mafia, camorra, stidda, and so on) that Italy has, or the high immigration rate, that is also quite surprising. Sweden, for example, has an omicide rate that is double the one of Italy, and Denmark is much higher as well.
@@Dronescapes, I know that people who live in the Scandinavian countries are the most prone to committing suicide. Plus, I've read that Chinese people are very prone to that too to such a degree, that there are special areas where they go to put an end to their lives. 🙄

I didn't know the Mavic 2 Pro could do 4K 60fps. Yet that is how it's playing on YT.
