And the only reason anyone would leave $5,000+ worth of gifts in their car, in a mall parking lot, is if they have so much money they don’t care whether they have to buy it all over again after it’s stolen. With most of your kids being special needs, and especially as they get older and age out of the system how do you teach them that they may not be able to afford such expensive items that they want? Its just a question, its your money how you spend it.

@@magnus1001sorry I'm not familiar how things work in the usa. So does that mean there's no financial payments from the government? The question still stands tho, when they get older I'm not sure all are capable of living independently and they have expensive tastes.

I Googled New York and when you adopt special needs kids you do indeed receive monthly payments of over $1000 per child until they are 21. In the state I live in the payments are even higher. I did not know this. I knew you got money for fostering a child but I am surprised to find that the same rules apply to adoption and all the way to the age of 21.
I bet she spends every penny that comes in and puts zero money away for the kids. My guess is they're not saving nearly as much money as they should be saving. She should be setting up a trust fund for a few of the kids who will most likely not be able to provide for themselves in her old age.

What the heck does being a foster kid have to do with ANYTHING? They are adopted by them so they aren’t fostered first of all. Second of all, you love your bio kids just as much as your adopted or fostered kids.

As your kids get older, I do hope they get a better understanding of the value of money. It may be a shocking awakening for them when they do get jobs and unable to spend extravagantly as they are used to growing up. Fully admire your ability to provide for your children but you should also instill limits to their requests.

I have to ask, when you did shoe shopping, a few got 2 pairs an some just got one.

I got my grand son 79 dollar head phones, they are 2 year old and still work great. Nice part he says is nana thank so much for these head phones, you didnt have to buy those they are expensive! Lol
He also saved his money up from 2 years of helping his mow his lawn. That was even cooler .
Also bought him an extra controller for 36 dollars and it works fine. Even had the charger for it.

It is a good investment. That set is being retired in 2024 and will be worth almost $900 at that point. After that the value goes nowhere but up.

Absolutely ironic that Alicia has to tell the grandparents not to buy gifts for her kids because she says they spoil them. But, Alicia herself buys her children WHATEVER THEY WANT! Xbox has a card you can get that is GamePass . The kids can play almost any game with it so you don’t have to buy all the games individually. Merry Christmas!
Next year she should do a series where each day she shops for one kid instead of shopping for them all at once.
I suggest for Christmas you go to Ulta or somewhere where a professional can help teach you how to apply make-up so it looks nice and not so startling. You also should learn what colors to wear and not to wear. I don’t say this in a mean and hurtful way. I’m just being completely honest. I appreciate honesty and would definitely want someone to tell me if I walked out looking like a clown.

I love watching her shopping halls but when she goes shopping and doesn't ever look at prices and lawys says this kid wants this and that and buys it for them like bragging how much money they have when there is people out here like me who has 4 kids works 2 jobs and can barely afford everything and work my butt off. I couldn't find decent iPhone 14 cases for my grandkids so I just bought a new iPhone 15 for my 6 grandkids. There are lots of cool cases out for the 15. The company does this every time a new phone is introduced . Also, if you can afford to, don't buy your cases from those cheap places in the middle of malls(nothing but knockoffs), but go to a legit place.
