Oh yes, 100% agree! That series is an absolute masterpiece. Which scene hit you the hardest? For me, it’s the one with the liquidators... chills every time!
San Andreas i like but the bits with them in the small boat in the flood waters the Prop and propeller would get stuck in all the debris. The wave and the Quake movies are actually not bad for Disaster movies go by.
You’re right about the boat scene in "San Andreas"-details like that can pull you out of the experience, but overall, it’s a fun watch. "The Wave" and "The Quake" are great examples of more grounded disaster films. Do you have any other favorites in this genre that you’d recommend?
I love this genre. Pure entertainment and can’t be taken seriously, this list was pretty good. I’ve seen them all.
