I just love how the jump animations actually captures the five phases of jumping: approach, takeoff, flight, landing and recovery while keeping a sense of gravity and weight without ever feeling obnoxious or as if it’s floating or bouncing like so many other horse games 🙌🏼
I said this on Rattle's video about this game, but I am SO GLAD that they're planning to implement driving!! Most horse games only have riding and care; hardly any have driving.
If you get the striding correct then you don't get the little step jumps in the same way! It only does that because the striding is off and in order for it to jump properly it has to adjust I think :)
as someone who rides horses, the animations of the horse are outstanding. also with jumping if you know how to count strides and have the horse jump on the right stride you wouldn't have those stepping breaks

I think this game has SOOO much potential especially with dressage most games dont have a lot of dressage moves and stuff but it seems like a great game with loads of potential! (btw. im not a dressage rider im just going off what i know :/ )
When they go over the trot poles, it’s like they know that the poles are there. That’s amazing.❤ I really like, looks like they worked really well and hard on this game.
I love the Horse model although it isn't very realistic it also looks great and it isn't too unrealistic either It's just very pretty (i also REALLY like the animations!)

Honestly out of all the recent horse games, INCLUDING rdr2, the jumping animation here is the absolute best. It's not just a weightless bounce, and it does not cut off a stride when you press the jump button, but instead the horse collects and THEN jumps - like in real life! That is amazing and very difficult work! Even the basic gaits look very good and the steps have weight to them

this is easily the best, most realistic movement animations i've ever seen in any game with horses - it's mesmerizing!

the reason why the horse does a couple steps before the jump is for striding! so if ur striding isn't correct the horse will fix it for u!
