I have tried for 6 years to find any band who has released better albums than Running Wild over the years, i fail every year. This is the best band in the world

True about Running Wild, less so with Saxon IMO. Running Wild is definitely the most consistently good band but I think Virgin Steele have the higher peak performance.
You know what I really like about RW? Most of their songs(if not all) have awesome intros, just about all thier songs are lengthy, probably all their songs have awesome guitar solos in the middle of them, and the fact that they can produce melodic songs like The Ballad of William Kidd and others from the Rivalry Album and still have hard-hitting metal songs! Running Wild Forever!!

That little story in the beginning is the stuff that makes concept/theme metal so great. No matter how corny it is, you never really know if the band actually take them selves seriously :D

One of the main reason for Jorg to leave the band was the non stopping double bass on the whole album,which he found hard to play live.
