Great video again... I do shore fishing here in Maharashtra as I am currently posted in Mumbai... I love lure fishing... I am from North East and I always wonder whether there is enough opportunities for lure (hard and soft) fishing in our north eastern rivers and water bodies... I find the carp catching technique of preparing food baits with hundreds of ingredients and waiting passively for a bite, very unappealing... no disrespect though to those who like... I enjoy your videos as you also use lures... What is your experience/feedback with lures in rivers/waterbodies of Assam/plains wherein predators may not be in great numbers...
Hi bro.. like you said im also not much of a fan of baitfishing where you throw the bait and wait... Since im a very restless person 😂 . Thus lure fishing is the suitable style for me... But we do have quite a vast variety of predatory fishes in this part of the country.. they do bite lures but i think its more challenging than other parts of the country since our waters are highly pressurized with constant use of dynamites , poisons and other illegal methods. Fishes very finicky... it takes a good skill and knowledge of the water to lure em out.
As for your region ... You do have lots of beels where there are lots of snakehead , wallago and the likes... i think you'll hook some decent ones if you try topwater lures like frogs, plopper etc according to the situations... I have always wanted to fish those huge beels i saw when on the way to guwahati or other places in Assam. Do try it out 👍🏻
