CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE IN NEPHROTIC SYNDROME :OLD IS GOLD

Cyclophosphamide is one of the oldest, cheapest and perhaps still one of the most effective second line drugs for relapsing nephrotic syndrome. I have had personal experience in using this drug for more than 30 years.One of the biggest concerns limiting the widespread use of this drug is the potential side -effects namely gonadotoxicity or risk of sterility and risk of bladder cancers.Both these side effects are dose dependent. during my tenure as a faculty member at the prestigious SGPGIMS, Lucknow I have published several original research papers on safer and more effcetive ways of using this by the intravenous route. This results in 40% lower dose and much better results and also ensures compliance. My research was validated by studies from other parts of India as well at other International centres. I received several awards by The Indian Council of Medical Research, Indian Academy of Pediatrics as well as The Indian Society of Nephrology.There is no risk of hair. loss, gonadotoxicty or bladder cancers in our experience as we used a much lower dose. In my experience it is a very cheap and effective option for these children and is far cheaper than MMF or Tacrolimus or Rituximab.

Sir mera urine me +++albumin (protein) June 2021se aa raha hai(1.) Tacroren 0.5 mg twice daily before 3 month(2.)cyclosporine 25mg( after 3 month )use karne Ke liye diya gaya hai aur medical genetics test karvane ke liye bola gaya hai Thik ho jayega sir. Please reply me🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
