I've owned a pair of rab camping slippers for the past two years. I swear by them. An amazing buy and will never be without another pair. I wear them everywhere, camping, campervan, after a run and around the house. Great review and I couldn't agree more. Colin
@@StephenJReid amazon have some in stock, they are a little expensive but defo worth the money. 36 quid, may be able to get them cheaper else where though. 😁👍
The Amazon prime delivery man is my friend now because of you 😂😂😂 (My wife was asking if I was in a battle with my neighbour to see who can get the most packages delivered 🤣 ) I might need a pair of these soon when she puts me out to sleep in the garage 😎
An interesting review of the slippers but i think UBFEN is more rugged and have a good grip. I've been using them since November, 2020 and they are SOLID.
I agree , my montane slippers will be getting packed on my next camp now the temps are dropping . They are a life saver in winter 🥶 tip don’t put them near a stove as they will melt 😂😂
I have those slippers the stitching goes through the sole and you get wet feet even when the ground seems dry.i thought about seem sealing them lol.quick tip get a pee bottle saves leaving the tent lol
Hmmm I used them on my last camp and the ground was actually wet and feet were ok. I suppose it depends how much time you actually spend walking around in them. They are cheap though.
Hot darn I inspired a Stephen Reid video.... I can tell my friends.... hey remember when Stephen said about the sheep dung in his toes????? I inspired that... lol Another winner.
@@StephenJReid they flatten, but that’s it, they have proper treads on them which add a bit of weight, the rest is down, bit like sleeping bags for your feet lol
Another positive, you're well over 2 metres tall and they keep your feet insulated because you don't fit on your sleeping mat. I normally use the Montane ones as they pack down to nothing but I've a pair of Rab ones too but they're too bulky, much better for car camping perhaps.
Been thinking about getting something like this for winter but by the looks of it theyre really only suitable for in the tent. In Scottish winter i don't think they'd last long outside the tent. Wet n slippy puts me off
Have a look around at some other brands, North Face make a pair with grip. I have used these in shallow snow and damp ground and they’ve been ok. But they will get damp eventually Fine for the money and fine for a lot of the kinds of winter camps I tend to do, but there are more premium options out there.
@@StephenJReid ye it's that balance between weight and practicality. My winter pack is really heavy as it is so weight is definitely something i need to consider
Wait, weren't you ragging on the Scotsman for his crocs in your wildcamp video?? 😆 I love bringing crocs camping, but these look like a great winter option.
I still have an ancient pair of Thinsulate ones I used to wear when I spent lots of time in hostels. Great bit of kit.
Gotta keep the toes toasty

I actually looked for a pair of Rab ones originally but always seem to be out of stock, so took a punt on these cheap ones and did the job.

Haha, garage proof 😂
I kind of want to get these for the house as well as camping!
Just don’t try running on a wet tile floor. Woooooshhhhhh crash
I've got mine.
Great bit of kit 👌
Toasty toes

Are they still lightweight? Usually a compromise between weight and ruggedness
@@StephenJReid Oh Yeah! Perfect balance of weight and ruggedness :)
Thank you Stephen was gonna ask you in your last video about them 🙂
Yeah i suddenly realised I’d never mentioned them before. So thought I’d do a video. 🙂
@@StephenJReid great idea 💡 love the creativity and energy 🧡👏💯

Good advice! I melted a pair of £40 socks once on a campfire. Was not happy!!
Love my slippers in the winter 👌I have 3 pairs 😂🤣
How many feet do you have?! 😮
@@StephenJReid just the 2 and a possibly fetish 🤦♂️😁
Guess you feel pretty smug and luxurious when you whip those bad boys out ... the slippers I mean of course! :-)
Indeed! 😂

@@StephenJReid I was outside the tent for 10 mins or so.there hut slippers so not really meant for going outside for long but yea there cheap
@Craig hmmm maybe different quality batches, I was out for probably total of 60mins over about 5hours.
@@StephenJReid possibly but I know I had wet feet after 10 15 mins

ive the north face camo mules, however I wear them more at home than camping lol

Like I said, these have proper street cred, unlike crocs 😂 Also that guy was English! 😂
