As a long time resident of NOLA, and someone that saw Acid Bath live, these covers spot on. Your lead guitarist does Audie the respect he deserves. Your singer, whoa. Those low end verses are eerily exact! The whole thing, impressed... ~respect!
Audie played the bass guitar not lead guitar but I get your points 😜. They all did a fantastic job. The vocalist did a nice job capturing Daxs' overall vibe along with the guitarists backing growling vocals. I'd love it if they came to the DC/Baltimore City area, I'd buy a ticket immediately!
I was lucky enough to catch them at a couple shows in Ft. Walton Beach back in the fuzzy 90's and I was hooked. Those songs still hold up and you guys pretty well nailed it👍
Lived in FL panhandle in 90s. Saw AB several times at The Handlebar in Pensacola. It's a shame we can't enjoy their music on here. Rotten records can suck it.
I lived in Metairie Louisiana in 1994-2007 and saw them numerous times at Zeppelins Bar at Hessmer Ave. and 18th St. in "Fat City" as if it was a common gig to go see, and no cover at the door. Played "Foosball", drank $2 pitchers & hung out with them in the parking lot before & after each show. They had this fully gray primered school bus that had that serial killer stalker feel to it that we sat in from time to time. Knowing that they've met so many ppl I'm sure they wouldn't remember who I was. I can honestly tell you this, they were as real and humble as anyone could be. Nice group of guys that had a turn of bad fortune come their way. I have all their music in my vehicles on flash drives and literally enjoy them daily with my over powered system(9 speakers/2-10"s & 1-12"/3000w's) for the world to hear. You guys on that stage doing the covers are doing a great honor to a band that will not be easily forgotten. I sincerely mean that. Cheers!
his screams have gotten better though, listen to the new cheap vodka cover with sammy pierre duet and mike sanchez, it should be in the acid bath archive channel.

Well done indeed, but Audie played Bass.
Mike Sanchez and Sammy Duet are the guitarists you are referring to.
Audie was a bassist. You don't even know.
NOLA Big 4 (in my humble opinion)
1. Acid Bath
2. Down
3. Eyehategod
4. Crowbar
God created ACID BATH and then rested on the Gulf Coast. Period.

I have had many nights like that with Dax, but only after Agents of Oblivion... never met Sammy yet.
Love from Ohio, Thanks for this, well done ❤️
Awesome
That's amazing!
His voice is good, but the screams aren't close to dax. He was brutal. He even admitted he couldn't do it anymore
