This is the best I’ve ever seen MGK spit, and that is not a diss. He was riding the beats like he had real passion and appreciation for hip-hop. The kind where you remember rolling blunts just to listen to a whole album by somebody. These flows had heart. That first beat goes fucking bonkers.

Definetly been slept on he's got some great songs and can do a good freestyle had 2 on Westwood and hot 97 and they're worth a listen especially his 2nd Westwood one. even his albums and mix tapes up until bloom and binge are amazing but he has got bars has good features as well with kid ink, tech n9ne, twista, dmx and yelawolf but people have probably only heard rap devil

He is good but you can't compare with Eminem. Better than most rappers i agree but with Eminem he is not even close .
I don't know about that man, this verse MGK just spit had more substance than Revival. Eminem of the past rapped about broken households, rampant familial abuse, rampant poverty, about social and political justice (Mosh), etc. Now he mostly does fancy wordplay like some sort of soulless street magician. And I've been a Slim Shady fan since Infinite. Hell, if he talked about how Detroit, Flint or Michigan as whole is burning or how he feels about what is going on in this country, then i"ll give him credit for being raw and having substance but so far he's been slacking. I get goosebumps when I listen to Sing for the Moment, Lose Yourself, Soldier, 8 mile road, Till I Collapse, etc. Eminem does not have that raw-ness and substance anymore. MGK does coz he's not rich enough to forget where he came from.

Ill give it to him, hes got flow. He kept up with an uptempo beat for sure. But my stance on him is still the same. Delivery is noteworthy , freestyle flow is decent. To the kids of today, I can see why hes as popular as he is.No offense to todays kids or MGK, but overall he is just 'good' at freestyle. He can keep up with the beat, continue the flow , but to anybody in the rap battle/Freestyle scene (Where Eminem started a name for himself) its only 'good' not Great.
