This subclass is perfect for a Hag themed character and again there's nothing inherently good about Nature so this character's name is Herald Hexbaron a Hexblood oath of ancients paladin who was raised by a Hag but they never saw eye to eye with each other so Herald left his Hag mother because they had different points of view on how to Rule and conquer the world Herald Hexbaron always loved the idea of beauty while his Hag mother didn't so they often get in each other's way on their quest to rule the world Herald Hexbaron is Lawful evil and is often very vain and selfish he also values beauty over anything else

You know you’re really on to something. I could see Hags being like a forgotten part of an old religion, and has just not died off. That being a base for the ancient beliefs, could really work well. Thats really smart and inspiring.

just wanted to leave some more love brother! i found your videos about rogue subclasses first and i havent been able to leave your channel alone! your depth and insights on how to roleplay all these features is so cool. i have been using your tips to build better npcs for my players, because i love that you dont just look at the abilities as numbers on a sheet.
you always think about how to really play out what these abilities mean, which is so helpful when making npcs since i dont have to worry about getting lucky with my exact numbers, and i get to focus on fleshing out the actual character

That means a lot to me! I can’t tell you how much I get into trouble for not just doing the number and optimizing . I really appreciate that you have checked out so many of our videos. Thank you!

I love this paladin subclass; thematically is one of my favorites, has really nice features and I love the spell list it gets.
Great video and analysis, never thought about the fact that both fiends and fey are usually resistant or immune to charms and fear and that the Channel Divinity basically goes around that! 😮🤩

Thank you! I normally go super edgy with everything, but I like the fae Druidic feel that this subclass gives off, and being able to get around fae charm resistance is very fun!

One idea i have for this class is to be a Goliath who prefers to be in the forest below his mountain home,he eventually gets booted from his clan and ends up as a defender for the forest .

Poor Goliath’s I mean they have a lot of tough love but once your out man your out.
Why dose the Goliath stand out to you for this class. I mean I like them personally I think there cool and a strong species.

More people should play this subclass

It’s strong defensively, which helps out considering how heavy handed the offense is for a paladin

I’ve played this subclass once in a one shot and it’s pretty cool. Nature’s wrath isn’t that great but I love the aura.

Seemed like you enjoyed it. I think it can be really cool considering how often you see conquest vengeance and oathbreaker pallys
