We started working on a weathering yard! Going to model it after yours with the chain link on the outside with green plastic poultry netting on the inside to protect feathers.
Hello! 2022 has been a rough year, losing 2 family members, but I am back in the game for 2023. I have chain link for the base of my mews, which I am building under my deck which is basically the roof of the mews. My house roof overhangs a good portion of my deck for weather protection. I bought a huge roll of vinyl coated 1/2 inch by half inch hardware cloth to cover the gaps between where the top of the 6ft kennel is the underside of my deck. I just want to make sure before I get too far ahead that the 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch vinyl coated hardware cloth is not going to risk a claw getting trapped if the bird is loose or becomes untethered. Thank you!

@ThatSocratesguy, ah, the art of the stoic wildlife rescuer! 🌟 At 0:40, it’s all about keeping cool under pressure-or should I say, under bite? The trick is a combination of adrenaline, a thick skin (figuratively and sometimes literally!), and a deep commitment to not startling the animal any further. We aim to keep calm so the animals can stay calm too. Remember, it’s all in a day’s work here at Wildlife Command Center. Handling wildlife, even when they get a bit bitey, is part of helping them. Thanks for your amazement, and don't try this at home-leave it to the semi-professionals in thick gloves! Keep watching for more wild adventures where we keep our cool so the animals can too! 😂🦝 [ruclips.net/channel/UCx4UeydCJfXHnV-wtF80TEQ] #WildlifeRescue #BraveHearts #CoolUnderPressure #WildlifeCommandCenter
