    Shang has mad talent but he needs to improve his durability. Injury seems to be his biggest enemy as of late.

    wow, he is still really young, was no.1 junior and was just playing mostly ITF last year and suddenly gotten wild card and now winning slowly, damn.

    Very similar style as Korda’s strokes. I hope his coach improves his charisma on court, as I’m sure his techniques will be very solid in a few years. Would be interested to see head to head match with other Asian super stars, like Kwon or Nishioka.

      He definitely has lived in English-speaking countries for some time. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to a tennis academy at a young age. He basically has native level English with a slight accent.

    Very skeptical of Shang. He’s a left handed version of Tseng Chun-Hsin. Short and no big serve and the same weaknesses. Don’t think he can survive the main ATP tour. The Big boys will eat them up.

      It clearly says in the description "star in the making" not that he's already a "superstar". Every current superstar started from somewhere. They don't just appear out thin air. Hence the term 'star in the making'. It just means that he has a promising career ahead of him.
