Acually there are many things that shouldn't (or should be here). As a single game, it's great, like really fantastic, almost perfect. But it fucked up the whole storyline
@ What do you mean? The first game barely had any story as it was mostly tech showcase. Like seriously, what's even the story of Crysis 1? They found aliens somewhere in China and that's it, there's literally no story arc in that game.
This was my first FPS game as a kid, and I'm glad I grew up with this one. Although I would only be willing to buy the remastered version if they brought back the multiplayer servers. Crysis 2 Multiplayer dying was a travesty, I love the way that game felt. I had a suspicion that it might just be nostalgia so I tried this small community mod trying to revive multiplayer for Crysis 2, and it was just as good as I remembered it, if only I could play with people who weren't running laggy middle east servers.
Man this brings back so much memories; I used to whip this out on my PS3 and play it on weekend nights. Also I remember panicking when my cloak was on low energy behind enemy lines and the threat bar going up lol

Yeah, we need a Crysis 4. Revisiting Crysis 2 after its release and it’s such a fun game, even more enjoyable than I remembered. If they tweaked the AI a bit to make it more responsive, then it’d be great. DOOM made a grand return, Halo is coming in with a boom, now would be a good time for Crysis to make a comeback.

I remember playing this game on my seniors laptop in college hostel on a sunday. Started a new game at 7:30am and went on to play almost uptil 4:00pm in the evening without a single break. The laptop got so hot, it shut down automatically 😂 this game was so obsessive that I couldn't spend one day without playing this !!! The good old days..
Dude this was the first shooter my dad let me play, huge nostalgia. I could never beat it because my Ps3 would always glitch out near the end so I would always play the game over and over again.
played this last night!! Had a hairy moment in the battle before central station when you have to find the detonators, i completely ran out of ammo for all guns, with like 7-8 Ceph hunting me down. Luckily you can go invisible from time to time, so I stealthed it out for about 10 mins til i found an ammo refill spot. it's still a good game in 2023!!
Crysis 2 looked so good when it first released on 360. I remember Crytek showcasing the map editor on both PS3 and 360, but sadly the editor never released on consoles.
@@deltazero7262 just a matter of timing and getting a feel for the controls. You can switch between powers rather gracefully. This also carries on to a degree in the next game. Changes etc etc. Plus a remastered i have no idea what has or has not been changed.
As a person who plays this game on post human warrior every time, I disagree with you. If you absolutely love stealthing in this game, stick to a silenced DSG 1 and a silencer SCARAB. Use backstabs frequently and only ever shoot if you are in a bad spot. Makes the stealth far harder and more enjoyable.
I love crysis its in my opinion the best fps shooter series. Yea let's forget about cod and battlefield but tbh who cares. Crysis is hard fun and entertaining. My favorite shooting game series ever.
I've had over 20 crashes with this game playing it on my Playstation 5. Completely unacceptable!!! Never had this much trouble with the 1st game either. Wish I would have waited to buy it

I play every time on post human warrior (max difficulty) and I support this idea entirely IF you don't want the game to be harder or just have a calmer experience of the game. If you enjoy some difficulty and challenge, try to avoid the HMGs.
At the end of the game you can hear Prophet say "You and me marine, we don't get to die just yet" Which probably led to Crysis 3 which was an awful game in my opinion, but Crysis 2 is pretty good.
Am I the only one who prefers the color grading of the original release? Sure this new version looks more natural but the OG had a huge summer-blockbuster vibe to it. It was like playing a Michael Bay flick and it leant a stylized flair to the game. I feel that chromed-out look suited the game better.

The thing is is they haven't fixed the issue of energy drain from nanosuit due to sprinting. Crysis 3 fixed it.

A good trick when using stealth. Take aim, turn off stealth, fire a single headshot, reengage stealth. Doesnt instant drain the battery
