- BBVA Chairman Carlos Torres discusses the lender's hostile bid for Banco Sabadell, the potential for cost savings and the outlook for growth. The takeover offer "has always been extremely friendly" and a merger between the two banks remains "the base case," Torres said in an interview with Bloomberg's Kriti Gupta.
