currently DriveX using hard body physics but in a really close update they will add softbody physics improving everything and fixing so many bugs like clipping through trees when you crash into them at high speeds
New update is trash,they made suspension more stiffer in all car, when given quick acceleration, inertia which was there is last update is , no more , car acceleration just feel very odd after this update
I'm sorry for any slight inconvenience that you might have had about this new update. Don't worry so much, updates that'd fix the game to make it more immersive is coming soon ❤️.

No the body is softbody but the chassis is hardbody

The deformation physics of the car really needs to be improved . The car deforms like clay tbh
