I have now tried out Hungry Dragon a decent number of times, and I've come to the decision that the card won't be an "auto-include" in any of my decks in the current meta (other people may disagree). That 1-mana minion is just too variable. As it turns out, a number of 1-mana minions are actually pretty useful, it's just that they aren't _as_ useful as other cards most decks can include. Essentially, I've come to think of it as a minion version of Naturalize. Instead of destroying a minion and giving your opponent two cards, you're getting an above-curve minion and giving your opponent a card _and then playing that card for them!_ Sure, it's not a great card, but with the amount of minion synergy in the field right now (more fuel for the Druid combo, Zoo can make use of any minion they get, Face Hunter gets another thing to hit you with, etc.), I think the risk outweighs the reward a little too often.
From my testing flamewaker is really decent in aggressive mage decks, but is just above average in everything else except against face hunter. This is mainly due to the need to hold onto flame waker till you can get immediate value.
Trump, Dark Iron Skulker isn't a consecration with a 1 mana 4/3, it's a 5 man 4/3 with one, maybe two backstabs in most situations. Looking at it that way, it is a very situational card that is usually not very good.
So, here's my question. It's turn one, you decide to keep sprint in case you draw prep, so that you can draw into your value cards. But to prep sprint, you use 4 mana and 2 cards to draw 4 cards, so you're only drawing 2 cards you hadn't before. Considering you might have drawn those cards if you threw back your whole hand in the first place, and 1 of those 2 cards if you threw back 3 of the cards in your starting hand. I don't know, for me it seems anti value to keep sprint in your hand, the chance you would redraw it, or prep, aren't that high, and you are basically paying for 2 cards, with 2 cards for 4 mana. Maybe it's a different reason, like he thought about keeping it till turn 7, I don't know it seems odd.

Hmm... had not thought to try the worgen in my patron deck. It seems like an obvious option but after grabbing card draw engines and frothing in addition to the other key players it never even entered my mind.
I prefer the old version of "capitalism, ho !" with azure drake and bloddmage thalnos, it work better in rogue than cards like sludge or sylvanas (even if you just want to draw the combo prep+sprint to draw a lot). I think for tempo sap could be really good, and even doomsayer could make the difference against agro. Doomsayer in the late game is a dead card, but rogue is the class that draw the more, against midrange and agro you'll get a lot better match up. I think that BGH is not so essential, a sap is more multipurpose, and your deck is tempo, so if you already have the tempo sap a boum will not make the difference for your opponent. Goblin auto-barber does nothing on its own, it's just a normal card, no more, he needs to get out for me. I think boum could be good here, he is OP, it's not a reason to play it in every deck, but boum is really a lot of tempo. I'll remove goblin auto-barber, BGH, a sludge and sylvanas, and I'll add 2 azure drake, thalnos and boum, and maybe one doomsayer.
6:23 Could have still cleared the board while saving a Deadly Poison by doing Backstab Thaurissan -> Deadly -> Hit Taunt -> Prep -> Blade Flurry. Maybe it's just my preference, but I value a Deadly Poison that will potentially hit for six over Backstab that will only ever hit for two. I wonder if Trump just didn't see that play or if he had a reason for keeping the Backstab. Throwing away all that damage seems anti-value and out of character for him.
Actually, over 50% CAN'T be killed by the dagger. Yes over 50% have 1 health but there are a few with 1 health that still can't be killed with the dagger, worgen infiltrator, argent squire, blood imp, and even though webspinner can technically be killed by it, it doesn't complete get rid of the card.

This is a really weird deck. You said it was supposed to be a control deck but it lacks any late win conditions, has no silence (sylvanas etc.) and no hard removal except 1 bgh, also a very low curve and no chows.
i feel like he could improve this deck by removing the fan of knives because he has no azure drake. Honestly the more board clear you put in your deck, the more board clear you need because they are not minions.

How is it that he keeps the Sprint and draws into Preparation right away? Whenever I try something like that it's just a dead card until turn 7. If I do manage to play it on turn 7 the deck taunts me by giving me Preparation on turn 8. I know I'm falling vicitim to cognitive bias, but still, this seems like an #everlucky draw if I've ever seen one. Edit: After watching the full match I've come to the conclusion that the Preparation draw used up all his luck for that match.
I am constantly baffled by Trade Prince Gallywix. If they play a spell, you get the option to spend mana, potentially usefully, but in exchange, you give them FREE MANA. How is that a good idea? Also, a lot of spells are useful to one class or in certain situations. If gallywix steals you two shield slams, you can't use them, and you gave your opponent a free 2 mana. I don't see a situation where he doesn't, at best, cost you a LOT of tempo.
Has anyone made use of mind control tech and hungry dragon combo yet? As in been able to have both cards in their hand with enough mana to cast both and get something good.
I was playing arena. The enemy had a force tank without shield, a skylker and an abusive sergeant. I already had mc tech and argent protector. I topdecked Hungry dragon. I played Mc tech. I stole the 7/7 and gave it divine shield. 1 turn after I blessing of kings it and won. Value

Why do rogue decks capitalize on Violet Teacher so much? I understand its a good synergy with all the Spells... But I feel like there are a lot better cards which could be included in this deck, especially given the amount of 5's that it contains.

Kholdaimon Yep, auto is really efficient, works as anti aggro board presence+removal, also works with flurry, just generallly great card. I think rogue has more than enough anti aggro to not run chow, i think thalnos or drake for more cycle and spellpower would be preferable.

Robert Gaherty Ysera and Thaurissan are so good because they activate once even if your opponent immediately kills it. Chrommagus does not.

Why Sludge over Hungry Dragon? Dragon would have survived + Deathrattle of Death´s Bite would have probably destroyed the 1-mana drop.
