Use them to help you develop your own ears. Hip Hop is supposed to be a mental exercise if you aren’t thinking hard you are missing the point. Also Knox is clean enough he sounds like he gets everything but he doesn’t actually, it’s impossible to get everything and he misses stuff all the time. I love breakdowns but they have their limitations. It’s like a TED talk compared to reading a whole book. It’s one look at a track and each track is a whole musical world.
That's like saying without having someone explain the plot I wouldn't understand the books I've read 🤣 kinda sad to be honest, I appreciate this channel for breaking things down and all the content it covers but not once did I watch a video cuz I didn't understand the music I love to listen to.

actually there are a couple he didn't catch. Or didn't get. for example. When em says" I keep it a buck buck your ass will get shot" , the break down to that is.....I keep it a buck (I keep it 100, how many pennies does it take to make 1 dollar...100. whats another word for dollar...buck. So basically he is saying he is keeping it real and that your ass will get shot. Buck buck is also the sound niggas make when they are imitating shooting a gun. Yes a deer is a buck but I don't get where that is in the rhyme scheme of that bar. Also Shout out to the Tera Squad Joe (Fat Joe, Big Puns brother). Hes throwing Joe in there instead of Yo. All Puns aside though. Big Pun is apart of the same Squad and Fat Joes brother. I really hope you will react to Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust at some point. The lyrics are already deep on their own but combined with the music video... well let's just say that there is a reason why it was voted as the best Finnish music video ever made. I just really want to see your opinions and deduction of the video because very rarely people realize what the video is about and instead they just think it's creepy when there is very much a reason for the video to be the way it is. Real talk, which is pretty much the only "talk" I think people should do, but Knox, I haven't heard much of your music, something I'm soon going to fix, but after hearing that little snippet of I'm guessing "Rockstar" or Party like a Rockstar" that you made, I honestly can say that you will have your major breakthrough and the world of hip hop/rap will know your name, not just RUclips as far as being an artist. You're a great reactor, but you're made for bigger things. I rarely ever say anything like that to anybody about any type of art, but you got all the right ingredients; work ethic, respect for the art, humility, TALENT, determination, the type of fearlessness someone only gets by embracing and facing and the utilization of that fear as fuel for an engine that will get you where you're meant to be, you don't seem like a quitter at all, and you're a genuinely nice guy, (or a manipulative psychopathy that can charm people into thinking that) lol JK, but during that snippet, the flow you used after the hook, even though I only heard a little bit of it, was the type of flow that I know you have had to study, practice, challenge yourself with something that's extremely difficult and persevere. People that don't understand how difficult some flows can be wont understand what it takes to be able to pull that off. Most of these "rappers" that are out there don't know the first thing about using an A B A B B A A B A B A A C C B A C B C B C C B B rhyme scheme on top of metric feet like Iambic Pentameter: (unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, unstressed X 2 for 10 syllables) and that's just the pentameter that's most well know cause of Shakespear's sonnets. But Sir Hill.....you have done your research and you have put in the work to made an artform out of flow patters, rhyme schemes, switches, and getting bitches and for that... you are..... Daniel Richerson Certified!! But for real, I'm gonna buy your albums and see what all you got cause I know you're gonna be around and well respected for a long time, in the rap game... not just reaction videos...
