I wonder if the stand names and the songs they're inspired by determine their powers in any way. Like maybe Araki got something from Holy Diver that we didn't and that led to The World's power set and visual design. It'd be interesting to know
time skip without being able to see into the future with epitaph in my opinion is a win or a draw for top stop. if you instead question time stop vs king crimson i think its a draw, Diavolo could just erase all that happens to him so he wont ever be hurt. Time stopers again could just see king crimson attack (remember Diavolo cant attack in erased time) and avoid the hit with their ability, so yeah i think its a draw but i guve it to diavolo cause their might be a chance he can outsmart timestopers with wierd attack. Again, no matter what timestopers do, diavolo would just erase it
Time stop wins, because Diavolo can't erase time that doesn't exist yet. Time flows, and DIO stops that flow. Even with the ability to foresee the near future with Epitaph. He would just see DIO popping in and out of view much like during part.3 when DIO was testing if Jotaro could see him in stopped time after getting his leg cut off.
@@kouta1311 diavolo can still erase the results of the time stop which will leave him completely unharmed. he'll see in the epitaph that he'll die instantaneously because of time stop and simply erase that part.
@@AngryCrimson322 See you're thinking that Diavolo will have a moment to even think before he suffers the effects of whatever DIO does during a time stop. But that is not the case. Think of it as this. When DIO killed Kakyoin, it was instant. It happened IN the pocket of stopped time, not after. Kakyoin was dead in DIO's world. So when time resumed, it was already done. Now look at Diavolo, he moves sees actions in a pocket of erased time. But that time and actions is still apart of regular time flow. What he does in it, or what was being done by others will remain. But the cause is removed. In a hypothetical situation of the two meeting. Epitaph is used but all Diavolo will see is DIO blinking out of reality due to the world and now he's dead, he won't see what kills him cause he literally can't. It happened in a time stopped pocket dimension, and since King Crimson can't erase things from happening, the effects remain. Diavolo will die in an instant, and all he would see is DIO disappearing followed by death.
@@kouta1311 you just don't understand how king crimson works. "King Crimson can't erase things from happening" this is not true at all. to explain it shortly, diavolo denies the fate that's supposed to occur to him by erasing time. in some way, what you said is true, king crimson can't change other people's fate, but he can change his own. the best example of this is risotto vs doppio fight. when risotto was about to use Aerosmith to kill diavolo, diavolo was quite literally fated to die cause there was no way for him to physically avoid aerosmith's bullets so he used time erasure to escape the fate of his death. basically, if diavolo will see the feature in which he'll die or get critically injured, he'll just erase time to avoid all the damage. nothing will change during a fight with dio or jotaro. he will see in the epitaph that he'll instantly die because of time stop and simply erase that part and there's no way for diavolo to get hurt in the erased world so time stop will not just magically break this rule of king crimson.
atleast it makes sense. king crimson removes the cause and keeps the effect. ger is literally the exact opposite and it also seems like you dont realize how broken king crimson is himself. definitely one of the most underestimated stands in jojo
Man, i now think that king crimson ability doesn't work on stands with their own consciouness. Like, King Crimson can erase mempry of user, but can't erase memory of stand like White Snake, GER, SCR, etc. So, in theory, GER reverts time back by command. And if we use Time Stop, GER will not see our attack. As the result, he can't revert something, about what he doesn't remember. But it's just a dry theory without any facts, so...
To my understanding, it's both. He kinda chooses what to keep during his few seconds of erased time which is how risotto died or how he didn't get punched when fighting Bruno. He sorta mentions this with "all that remains are the results". But he still skips time and nobody remembers what was skipped Basically it just works. Sorry that I just didn't help at all but that's the best way I can explain it
