Thank you :)
bought the pattern and can't wait to try it now ❤
Thank you :)
That is adorable but lot of work. Got one in bigger hoop
The biggest hoop is 9x14 and they are all made with the same process.
Love the pattern Where do you purchase your rivets and button snaps? Thanks.
The snaps and rivets are from Buckleguy.com (I have no affiliate) www.buckleguy.com/brass-snap-fasteners/#/Hardware-C231/Snap-Fasteners-C153/?Size=F551%7CF562&Finish=Nickel+Plate+%28NP%29-F633&noidx=1 www.buckleguy.com/rv9295-double-cap-rivet-cap-9-2mm-post-9-5mm-nickel-plate-solid-brass-ll-100-sets-per-bag/
Thank you.
I love your work and videos are well done. Can I ask where do you buy your snaps, hardware from? I'm having some problems with weak snaps and finding good hardware. I'm in western Canada.
Hi thank you glad you like them :). I am in Canada as well but I order from the USA. I get most of my snaps and rivets at Buckleguy.com they always set well and snap correctly. The main issue a lot of the time is the setting tools as well, you need good tools to set them as well as quality hardware. I use the table press as it gets a nice even pressure and works every time. hopefully that helps.
When the design is released will you be providing instructions on positioning for directional patterned vinyl please?
OK, I made a note in the instructions. 👍🏼
I am curious as to what type of thread you are using. I also have a Husqvarna machine and it doesn't like standard polyester thread for embroideries so I would have to use Rayon or SB Poly. I am enjoying you patterns and an thankful for the videos.
Agreed ! Husqvarna machines appear to be very very picky with what embroidery thread they will use willingly. I find that the sulky brand in the larger spools works well and I also like Gunold thread and I find Madera will do OK as well. All the rest just shred and make life miserable.
Also something that is very important for the Husqvarna machines, and a lot of the single needle machines, is to have a thread support. I have a homemade one where I put the thread on the table and weave it through a hole in a stick before threading into the machine.
It’s also a machine that I have to babysit constantly.
What is the tool you’re using on the edges after you cut?
I think you are referring to the lighter I am using on the edge :) I use a lighter on the edges especially when using felt because it neatens up the "fluff" from the material. ....(disclaimer, I do not take responsibility for people who burn, or singe their project piece, or for any misuse of a lighter...just sayin' )
@@threadmodeembroidery2374 thanks for the explanation! Couldn’t tell what was going on there in the sped up portion.
@@jenniferschildt6635 lol I figured :) it is likely something you already do
Do you have a link for your rivet press, please?
The rivet press I use is from Buckleguy dot com. I think it may have changed a bit from when I bought it.
where do you buy your pretty colored vinyl?
Hello, I just get my vinyl at local stores in Canada, and also sometimes when I cross the border into New York at Joann’s.
