This is an incredible project! So glad you’ve documented it all, RUclips suggested one of your videos and I’ve been going back through a bunch of them! Amazing work! I love the choices you’ve made so far, looking forward to watching the rest!
We had a flat in Woolwich in south east London which we lived in and renovated from the ground up over 5 years in 2007-2012, we sold it to buy this place.. along with a bit of help from family and some savings. This place was relatively cheap to buy, just over 200k€ - but because of covid the price of materials went through the roof. So we have had to be resourceful, using local wood from the sawmill for example, learning to build with green timber, all those things save a lot of money. Plus we are basically doing all the work ourselves, we sometimes have one paid guy helping us, and we have had many volunteers.. obviously certain things you need to pay a lot for like heat pumps etc. but we have tried to be as economical and smart as possible. Not to say we haven’t screwed up that plan along the way occasionally ;) and the money is running out, but with a bit of luck we can make it across the finish line 🏁
Getting where you're going is half the fun :)

Absolutely amazing; all the things you know how to do. Bravo again & again. Super cool.
Thank you so much Lauren x
All this must cost an absolute fortune. How do the finances on a project like this work?

I have to say that that is impressive. I know the sheer amount of work that has gone into that (and isn't shown in your videos). Congratulations!
Thank you!
Very nice, you and your team are showing some serious craftmanship preserving that old classic farm look.
Thank you!
It's very inspiring to see what you're creating! 👍☀
